Store is very clean and pleasant smelling. We went early 1045 and there were already people there. Menu is pretty simple but offers options. Took a while for food to be delivered. Upside it was hot. Orange chicken was the choice. Pretty good. Not amazing but good. Fried rice was better green did not disappoint. Chicken eggroll was bomb. Good flavor and hot. Beer bottle sauce, pretty sure Terriaki, was thick and sultry. Liked it. All in all 8.5 out of ten. Better than Panda but a bit more pricey.

I called the store to place an order but was told I had to do it online. On their à la carte menu, I ordered chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, and orange chicken. When I received my order, both the chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki had no sauce at all.
I could understand if I had ordered the “side of chicken breast,” which the menu lists separately, but the items I selected were specifically called “chicken teriyaki” and “beef teriyaki.” Naturally, I expected them to include teriyaki sauce.
I called and spoke with someone named Natalia—who confirmed she was the same person I had spoken to earlier about ordering online. I explained that the food I received didn’t have any sauce and that the menu doesn’t mention this. She told me I would need to contact the owner because she has nothing to do with the online menu and could not help me.
This is very disappointing. The menu should clearly state if the teriyaki items don’t come with teriyaki sauce. Otherwise, it’s misleading. I shouldn’t have to pay for food that isn’t prepared as described.

The food was good for what you get but there isn’t too many options. The restaurant layout itself is very odd. From pretty much anywhere you sit you have views into the restrooms depending on if the door is open or not. They also have giant TVs on playing random videos in the back ground. We chose to eat in, and it seems like the majority of people do takeout or delivery cause every few seconds or so someone would be coming in to pick up food and you would hear the door dash chime go off. Also, make sure to ask for napkins since you don’t get any for eating in and there are none out.

We walked in around dinner time on a Saturday. It wasn’t crazy at all and we were 4th in line. Server was very kind and had great customer service. The food was very good and portions were the size I would expect. Each table was clean and they even brought the food to us. All around great experience and great food at the price I would expect.

Attended the soft opening on 7/30/25. The purpose of the event was to give out a free meal in order for chefs to practice cooking the menu (Had to sign up online).

I ordered the steak bowl with yakisoba noodles and veggies (regular size), as well as 2 appetizers, the chicken egg roll (1pc) and crab rangoons (4pcs) to go.

Steak bowl w/ noodles was delicious. Steak was a thin cut but not too thin. Veggies consisted of cabbage, broccoli, carrots and zucchini. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was also a good size portion, you won’t leave hungry. They gave teriyaki sauce on the side, if getting to go I would ask for an extra if you like lots of sauce.

Rangoons were really good, not too heavy on the crab taste but just enough, 10/10. Chicken egg roll was good as well. They gave a sweet and sour sauce packets with the rangoons and egg roll dipping sauce for the egg roll.

The restaurant itself was clean, organized, and had teriyaki sauce and sriracha on each table. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating! They also got the food out faster than I anticipated for a soft opening, less than 10 minutes. This experience overall was 10/10 and I was very impressed for their soft opening. I would definitely recommend and will be going back. It’s a nice addition to Modesto that serves up something different as well as has healthier options if wanted.

Had to try it very disappointed. One strip of chicken down the middle of your bowl. Order 2 large take out for 31 dollars. I thought Unos portion were getting small. theirs is even smaller. 1 sauce per bowl,
.75 cents for each additional sauce. We Ordered the Large.. Hate to see the small
Save your money!!! Nothing but a Repackage Teriyaki King store!!
Go to Ramen 101… More eats for your money

Glad to see more restaurants in Modesto finally. I would go there again again again. You do need extra sauce. The spicy chicken was good. Get the large. You money will go a long way. Its enough to eat at least 2x. Its a wait. Probably need more staff. In LA they have places like this right on street or in a food truck. Yes LA is a big city. People travel a distance for the food. Stay fresh. Great taste

Great food! $25 for the large bowl with two choices of meat and a side of rice, but not bad considering it is fresh and very tasty!

Ordered the regular orange chicken bowl and there were maybe 5 pieces of “chicken” total, and they were all just fried batter. Absolutely no meat. Not even worth the drive back to get another bowl, just ate something else instead.
