Clara was incredibly sweet and kind during my visit. she is the cook at teriyaki madness, and since it was my first time there, she took the time to help me, explain things, and make me feel welcome. she treated me with genuine kindness and had so much patience, which truly stood out.

Did not get order, unprofessional staff. Called me 6 times in a row,couldn’t even listen to voicemail before they called again never even said who they were amd caller ID looked fake. On voicemail just said calling about my order. I listened after. I answered upset on 6th call, first at 6:11pm 6th was at 6:14pm, that’s outrageous harassment. Person was unprofessional, rude and swore at me, i told him to cancel whole order and better get my refund.

Watched the cashier sneeze and blow his nose multiple times without washing his hands. Sneezed, blew nose, went into the kitchen and touched the food. Disgusting. I’d avoid this place unless you were purposely looking to get sick and having unsanitary booger-filled food.

I’ve came to this location multiple time & had ok service. But this last time I had hair in my food, it literally killed my appetite. Then when I called they told me there was no manager on duty. So I had to pull back up to this location on Craig to get a refund. They had no empathy for my situation which gave terrible customer service in my opinion. They definitely need help at this location

My chicken teriyaki was REALLY good! And my husband liked his spicy beef bowl ok, but I’m only giving them three stars because when he showed them an email with a special offer that said to redeem with online orders, the app, or with a walk in at the checkout counter, the girl said she couldn’t honor it, and said it was walk-ins only. She didn’t even ask anyone else, like a manager, to help in case we did the order wrong (maybe we needed to order drinks with it? Idk…) but a little help or explanation would’ve been nice instead of putting her hands up, then practically throwing the bag of food across the counter at him, then turning her back like she was done helping him. My husband told her that the email was the only reason that we were trying this place for the first time, and he had planned on tipping her well, but not with the treatment he received. He still doesn’t know what he did wrong to not get the deal. Next time we’ll go to a different one, like the one on N.Decatur St. I’ve met some employees from there when they were shopping where I work, and these young women were so sweet! And they personally invited me to come order food at their location. I really did love that chicken bowl, next time we’ll drive farther to get better service.

The place is clean, the girl at the counter on September 16 was a darling, (I wish I could remember her name) and the teriyaki chicken bowl with fried rice and veggies was perfect. I’m usually luke warm on dark meat, but it was cooked perfectly and not chewy. Will go again.

The chicken was over-cooked and I didn’t get what I ordered! I ordered a teriyaki chicken and beef combo and only got hard over-cooked chicken. The Katsu chicken was over-cooked and it looked like they used old oil! Not going back to this location anymore!

Last night I came in person and ordered a 2 protein bowl with brown rice, light cabbage & light broccoli with no sauce at all on any of the food, on the side only, and a side of crab rangoon (6pc). I had to remind the order taker of no sauce on food, since he had not relayed that to those preparing the food. When I rec’d my order and took it home to relax and eat, I was disappointed that most of the vegetables were onions and a few pcs of zucchini with some very thinly shredded carrits, but moreso shocked at the condition of the crab rangoon, which was burnt, appeared twice fried, and the filling was coming out of the covering and looked like hell…many pcs dried up and missing the usually moist filling. No way should that have been served to a customer and the salmon was dry and had an oily seasoned coating, which I’ve never had in all the times I’ve ordered the same. I ûsually share the salmon insides with my dog and foster dog, but was unable to do so this time due to it being so thin and the lack of volume and with the oily seasoning on what remained of it. I would never have expected to be served the poor quality of crab rangoon, most of all, which I retrieved a couple of pieces from the garbage to show you. Overall, this was not the quality I expect, or have rec’d in the past on “most” occasions, from Teriyaki Madness…although the quality has seemed to vary from visit to visit, which shouldn’t be the case. Anyway, I feel ripped off.

I ordered the half beef and chicken breast bowl with fried rice…came to about $12 or so. I wanted try bothbso next time I would know what to get. I really liked the beef and would get only veggies next time. Pretty good when you want some lightweight healthy lol. I have enough for lunch and dinner tomorrow.
