This is my honest review. everything tasted good except the quality of the chicken. there is a couple of things that I would do differently. For starters, I would explain to the customer that adding rice or noodles is an extra charge.. Adding an eggroll with a drink is an extra charge. We were under the impression that it was all included in a meal.. while the food has flavor, the chicken itself is dry and not juicy at all. Idk if maybe the chicken was sitting in a bin for awhile and seeing as it was a grand opening they did larger batches of chicken than usual. but regardless. First time impressions are a big deal. And unfortunately the chicken being that dry was a letdown. And with that said I would prefer Panda Express instead. Continue working towards achieving a juicy and tender chicken.
Update: so I a research on this place. And guess what is the biggest complaint from every single location. The chicken. Dry and tough. I knew I wasn’t the only one.

Awesome place it was my first time trying it and I love it. The food was great and the girl that took my order was very nice to me and took the time to explain me the menu. Definitely I’ll be back soon.

I’ve really enjoyed eating at Teriyaki Madness and I’m glad they opened here in Mission. I went three days in a row to try different items on the menu, and everything was consistently good. Ordering online was fast and easy, and my food was ready quickly each time. The staff was friendly, patient, and welcoming, always with a smile, which made the experience pleasant from start to finish.
The orange chicken was tangy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and moist, and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy, exactly how I like them. Overall, it’s a solid spot with good food and efficient service, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I walked in, said hello to the girl behind the counter while she was on her phone, she looked up with a blank expression and walked away to call one of her coworkers to take the order. I’ve worked in fast food before, so I know she may not be on duty for the counter, but an acknowledgement would’ve been nice. I understand some people have bad days as well but she was laughing it up with her male coworker 2 minutes later.

I ordered the orange chicken bowl with brown rice, and it was about a 10-15 min wait time. The rice was undercooked and hard :/ it also had a bag-like taste to it. I wasn’t expecting the rice to be freshly made and not coming from a package, but I was also not expecting it to be hard. Luckily, I had siracha at home, which was able to mask the taste of package. Even then, I didn’t finish it because of the hardness :/

Overall, I was already hesitant on going to eat here because the prices were a little expensive for a chain restaurant, but decided to give it a try because of the bowl of the day deal. An order came out to $9 and some change change with the special. From checking their ordering website, you have to pay extra if you want noodles instead of rice, fried rice instead of regular rice, and if you want all broccoli instead of mixed veggies.

On a side note, the responses to customer reviews seem AI generated with the way it is written, so this review is more so warning others to not spend your hard earned money on businesses that don’t care enough to write a human response!!!

1st time trying this new place,, TERIYAKI MADNESS… never again.. to begin with, it’s overly expensive and then they get your order wrong. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl yakosoba style with veggies and guess what I got.. 4 small pieces of chicken and a whole bunch of noodles without vegetables,, Homers food was awful,, beef was rubbery and rice was mushy.. $40….. never again.. and after I called and told Aaron that the dish he had recommended was made wrong. His response was “ I’ll let the guys in the kitchen know”.. and what is that going to do for me right now that I was looking forwardto eat. ! I’m super upset.. oh and most places give you sauce for your food,, these people charge .75 for the sauce .. and the egg rolls.. dollar tree has better egg rolls.

TERIYAKI MADNESS.. the name says it all.

It was okay I wanted to try it because I always see this place but the chicken was not the best nor was the ragoons everything tasted like it’s been out for a while and I didn’t get any sauce so yeah it’s just okay not a 5 star at all but if they make everything fresh when people come it would taste way better
