Update: so I a research on this place. And guess what is the biggest complaint from every single location. The chicken. Dry and tough. I knew I wasn’t the only one.
The orange chicken was tangy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and moist, and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy, exactly how I like them. Overall, it’s a solid spot with good food and efficient service, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
I ordered the orange chicken bowl with brown rice, and it was about a 10-15 min wait time. The rice was undercooked and hard :/ it also had a bag-like taste to it. I wasn’t expecting the rice to be freshly made and not coming from a package, but I was also not expecting it to be hard. Luckily, I had siracha at home, which was able to mask the taste of package. Even then, I didn’t finish it because of the hardness :/
Overall, I was already hesitant on going to eat here because the prices were a little expensive for a chain restaurant, but decided to give it a try because of the bowl of the day deal. An order came out to $9 and some change change with the special. From checking their ordering website, you have to pay extra if you want noodles instead of rice, fried rice instead of regular rice, and if you want all broccoli instead of mixed veggies.
On a side note, the responses to customer reviews seem AI generated with the way it is written, so this review is more so warning others to not spend your hard earned money on businesses that don’t care enough to write a human response!!!
