11-9-2025 First time my husband and I ever went to teriyaki madness. Loved the newness of the restaurant! The gentleman at the counter had outstanding customer service! The restaurant was absolutely clean and looked great! There even outlets at the seating area .
When we received our food it looked great but after biting into the spicy chicken it was very scorched the brown rice was undercooked and the veggies were very hard. For the price paid for the large bowls I was expecting so much more.

I posted a review on here several months ago because they filled my bowl with so much sauce that my meat and veggies were literally floating. As you will see under nearly every “One Star” review, “I’m sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. Please give us another try.” Well here it is…I purchased a large bowl with two proteins. The proteins weren’t the problem although this place can’t seem to get the flavors right. It was the 10% veggies and 90% sticky rice ratio. No one, and I mean NO ONE, purchases a large bowl to eat a pot of rice made for a family of 8. Don’t believe me, take a look for yourself. Like I said before, I was excited this place came to Wichita because I’ve eaten at Teriyaki Madness in several other locations. I can assure everyone, this is not it! Next time I’ll take my money to Meddy’s. They seem to care about what customers think of their food. An overall 3.8 average is not good given the short amount of time they’ve been open. I’d be surprised if they last another year.

EDIT 12/3/25 I hate to take it down a star but the quality seems to be very inconsistent. Since I posted the original review I’ve had multiple bowls where the katsu was overcooked and stringy. I really hope they can figure that out because it was an excellent dish at first.
I’ve had good bowls nearly every time I’ve been here! One time the spicy chicken was cut weird but other than that it’s been great. In particular, don’t sleep on the chicken katsu, it’s better than the katsu at the majority of sushi restaurants in town. Service has been fast and friendly every time I’ve been there.

My second time eating at TM and my daughter’s first time eating there. Friendly and hard working cashier greeted us and patiently wait for us to place our order. She brought our food to our table after a short wait and the food was delicious! My daughter was enjoying watching the TV on the wall while we waited and it was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. I appreciated the cleanliness and well stocked tables and drink prep area. Huge portions were enough for 2 meals each!

Placed an order online during grand opening and had to cancel/get a refund due to the long wait (successful grand opening) and could not pick up order at a later time. I did not receive my refund but went back last night to solve the problem and the owner was able to take care of it with no issues. I highly recommend the orange chicken with noodles and yum yum sauce!

I got the spicy chicken teriyaki and you could not even taste the teriyaki. All you could taste is the Sriracha. I ordered the large, which basically just came with extra rice. The meat portion was the same as a medium. My husband got the steak teriyaki, which was decent. I’m glad other people are enjoying it but for me, I will not be coming back

Absolutely amazing tasting teriyaki sauce. The bowls are perfect size, and the edamame with the sea salt on top were a 10 out of 10. Overall the chicken teriyaki bowl was a 10 out of 10. We will be eating here again.

My new favorite fast/casual spot in town! The spicy chicken bowl is my fav, but the regular chicken and steak are great too. I’ve been several times and never been disappointed. And the crab rangoons are insanely good! Fresh food, reasonable wait times, always worth it.

The food is very good. The crab rangood wantons are some of the best and their sauces are fantastic.
When you get it Togo, you can even get Sriracha packets which I’ve never seen anywhere else. They also have forks that are easy to use chopsticks on the otherwise great for kids and beginners.
The only issues I had was the kid at the counter was very bland and not customer service centric, however the other employees were great and the price is high for the level of food it is, but its not a big enough issue to earn only 4 starts, it just means I will go there less often is all.
