From the outside, this place doesn’t look like much, but step into the doors and it’s a whole new ball game. It literally looks like the part of the shopping plaza no one goes to, just by looking from the street/parking lot. The inside though, cozy, plenty of chairs and seating, plenty of tvs to watch, soda fountain, bottled beverages, and very clean! Definitely a place to eat at!
We saw this spot on TT, like the pho restaurant a few doors down, and had to check it out. What are the chances of there being two delicious spots in the same quaint plaza? Ordering is easy, although people file in and out of there for their to-go orders non-stop. I waited about maybe 15-20 minutes for the food to be cooked, and that’s mainly because there were so many people there, so they were a little backed up.
We went with the traditional teriyaki chicken bowl and a teriyaki pork bowl. Their ratio…spot on….it was the right amount of rice and meat…whereas other places will give you a ton of rice and a thin layer of meat….it was nice and thick. Not only that, but the amount you’re paying for your food is well worth it. Stop on by, you won’t be disappointed. They do upcharge for a few add-ons, so it may be worth taking a few minutes and looking over the menu first. We’ll definitely be back.

I found this spot and saw that it got a lot of great reviews and it’s well deserved!
I got their fried white fish, chicken and beef bowl with vegetables/avocado. The fried fish with the tar tar sauce was delicious and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken and beef was also delicious especially with avocado. Great customer service overall too.
I’d definitely come back again and try their other menu options.

Drove 20 min to check this place out after seeing it on TikTok. Service was fast & fresh! Our plates were heavy & delicious! I would def recommend & come again. Staff was nice & friendly. We just beat the lunch rush as the line was starting to go out the door. You can also order ahead for pick up !

I ordered the chicken and shrimp plate. The rice was good, the chicken flavor was good, not amazing. The chicken felt a bit dry, and some pieces were charred. The shrimp were good. Not too much breading on them Nd not salty. I liked it, but didn’t love it. $17 seems a bit much for this plate, but i get it. Everything is expensive now. Ill stop by if I’m in the area, but won’t go out of my way for it.

Ordered lg. beef and chicken teriyaki with veggies no rice. Overall pretty good. Keep in my a large is a heavy plate. There is plenty in that serving to share between two people. My wife had the chicken teriyaki fries. Very tasty goodness. Overall expect a hardy meal as portions are plenty. The teriyaki sauce is very good, I should have added their hot sauce before I left the restaurant. Since it was take out, I got packets. Not the same. I took a chance and ordered the california roll. Not a recommend – the roll had a lemon tartness similar to a squirt of lemon, which is not what I expect on a California roll.

This place has some of the best teriyaki I have ever had. The fried jalapeños were a pleasant surprise. The meat had great grilled flavor, the rice was perfectly cooked and the sauce was just sweet enough. The workers were attentive while also moving fast.

Delicious! Soooo excited to have this gem in La Mirada. If you live here you know there’s not too many quality options! We’re a Big Fan of their first Teriyaki place in Bellflower!
Quality food, Great taste and a variety of options! My favorite is their chicken plate with shrimp and avocado! (Yes, add the avocado), shrimp is cooked to perfection and the teriyaki sauce taste fresh. You can seriously taste the goodness in their food! Not like Flame Broiler or Waba Grill that all taste processed!
For anyone saying it’s expensive, quality food isn’t cheap and the portions are super filling. If you want cheap go to Tams around the corner (yuck) You get what you pay for!
Spacious and clean with plenty of parking.
We’ve been there at least 6 times since they’ve opened. Do yourself a favor and check them out! You won’t be disappointed!

Food is ok but little expensive. The thing that really made my decision to not return is the electronic payment fee of $1.25 and then another service fee of $1.25 and on top of that have the nerve to ask for a tip. I do not like being charged extra just because. In this time money is tight and to be nickle and Dimed is reason to go somewhere else for food.

I visited this place several times and one time beef quality wasn’t very nice, but chicken was always very good. Price is reasonable and prepared quickly. One thing I like to praise them for is how rice is cooked. I approve their rice as an Asian.

Got a bowl of teriyaki, and honestly, I understand if the teriyaki can get burned a little. This was not the case. I found a lot of burn pieces in my meal.
