The food was wonderful. Very authentic and they are very nice. Items are served in to go containers even if you dine in and it’s all brought to you at ones. But I didn’t mind that because I couldn’t finish it all so I needed to take some home. No music and just a few tables but it’s nice if you want some peace and quite while you eat 🙂

Disgusting, messed up my order today, on multiple occasions food was not great. Looks like baby food.ordered fried rice and got brown rice smothered in sauce.

I have dined in and they got my order wrong with something I don’t like and with a higher price. Ordered takeout twice from here and my mothers food is usually the pork spareribs which is her favorite and gets cross contaminated twice in a row and had a huge waft of shellfish smell which she is very allergic to and resulted her into throat swelling twice from here. Not ok.

My friend and I were searching for a post-midnight bite when we stumbled upon this place in South Boston. The food here is typical cheap Chinese takeout food that you can get anywhere in the U.S., so when we first saw their menu, we expected to get something like Panda Express bowls.

But as they say, looks can be deceiving. We got the salmon bowl and the sesame chicken, and both were far better than we anticipated. The chicken was succulent and moist within, and the salmon, too, was a cut above what one would expect from a fast-food joint. Though priced slightly higher than your typical chain, the quality and taste justified the extra cost.

Although there are some late-night options available in Chinatown, Teriyaki House still manages to stand out, providing a satisfactory quick bite that doesn’t skimp on quality. If you’re in the area and looking for a solid meal without the wait, this might just be your spot.

RUDE RUDE RUDE! I placed this order on Uber eats and specifically wrote notes to the restaurant stating that I do not want tobiko (THE RESTAURANT PUT EXTRA ) I also said no eel (they still threw it on there anyways) I just don’t understand why I’m getting an attitude from the lady that answered the phone when I mentioned my concerns to her. Yelling at a customer because you can’t understand what the word “NO” means is not appropriate. Thanks for ruining my freaking dinner. They told me to drive there and they’ll give me new ones but why would I do that when I had this delivered and paid all these fees? DO BETTER!

I ordered some food December 30th 2021 I ordered a family size chicken finger cuz my daughter’s literally only love chicken fingers ordered this before a few times. This is the first time more than half of the chicken fingers were not cooked fully. Only the smaller ones were fully cooked the rest of them were full with batter when you bit into them. The picture I’m taking now is from two days later eating leftovers I reheated in my air fryer and still the batter is like that I’m so disgusted. Pretty sad that I’m probably not going to order there anymore. Also the diamonds ever got my food I walked in and there was several people just was standing around nobody asked me can they help me I literally had to say hey can you come over here and let me pick up my food before somebody helps me.

This place is mediocre at best. Every now and then I decide to give it another chance (it’s Real close to work) and every time I’m disappointed. They don’t put any effort into their food, the appetizers are bland, entrees OK, and the sushi is very skimpy and bland. The maki rolls are literally JUST fish and rice, barely stick together, and are mostly rice. Very little fish. No sesame seeds, asparagus, avocado, cucumber etc. JUST RICE AND FISH. Overall ok if you’re desperate, but faaaaar from great.

Got back to my hotel late after a Sox game and had minimal delivery options. Took a chance on this place and was pleasantly surprised. Got the “dark meat” Chicken Teriyaki and it was so good, generous portions and still inexpensive despite it being delivery.

Got delivery so can’t speak on atmosphere but the food was great.

3.1 as a rating is CRIMINAL!

I honestly feel as though most reviews give this place a bad rap while not looking at the ‘big picture’. #1. They’re the ONLY food option in the Boston area (that we’re aware of) that stays open past 10pm. #2. Of course they aren’t ‘cheap’… they own & operate a business in Boston, MA. Nothing here is anywhere close to cheap. #3. The portion of food for the price is reasonable to say the least. One out of the two meals pictured, would easily serve as three meals for just one person.

Any cheaper in THIS city, is gonna look a hell of a lot more like a kids meal from McDonalds.. let’s be realistic here, folks!

This is a fast, reasonably priced, large portion, late-night, comfort-food-for-takeout kind of place. Teriyaki House is known in the area for the amount of food you get, price, and speed after 10pm. I’ve ordered from here a few times over the years now. For best results, I recommend ordering staple comfort foods with minimal/no adjustments. This food really hits for satisfying late night cravings. The best ordering experience is through Toast for pickup (app or website), or the Kiosk inside.

This place survived through covid by really leveraging food delivery/pick up services – that is still the most popular method and you won’t find many people dinning in. There is a constant stream of food delivery services picking up orders from here from 9pm-1am.
