Came here by chance and it was a great experience, the prices are very reasonable, the service is great, the older gentleman was pleasant and pront, the food was plentiful and taste amazing, i had the chicken and beef combo which included a drink, also had the katsu plate. The teriyaki Chicken was well made and tasted delicious as well as the beef, the potato/macaroni salad was one of the best i had ever. The katsu chicken was well cooked and breaded to perfection.
It was an overall great experience, highly recommend this restaurant.

Hawaiian chicken wings is where it’s at . Call in advance as they may take long to make but definitely worth the wait. Super fresh. The scent of the spices used aromatizes the air. So crispy and scrumptious, it’s hard to not want more. Tastes delicious fresh off the kitchen and even cold as left overs. Service was kind and friendly.

The owners are older, but very hard working. The food is pretty good and they give a lot. This older couple work 7 days a week, every day, trying to keep up with customer demands and the bleak economy and rising food costs. Somehow, they’ve kept their prices the same or increased very few items, here and there. They have no choice if the business is to survive and thrive. Unfortunately, the husband works the cash register, serves the food, checks on the dine-in customers and helps his wife in the back kitchen so service might be a little slow. (Whew. I’m tired just writing this review compared to their busy workload). The wife is in the kitchen cooking, prepping the food, washing the dishes, and maintaining a clean kitchen. Hang in there, folks. Give them a try. Help the business and help this couple stay in business. You will be glad that you helped them today. Don’t it feel good? Of course.

Food is delicious. I ordered the spicy chicken bowl. For the price they are very generous with their portions. Service is fast. I recommend calling in for your order. As they cook it when you place it, it can take 20 minutes or more to cook. Atmosphere can be better, but if you’re going for takeout, it doesn’t matter.

Hidden gem! Truly amazing mom-and-pop Hawaiian place. Owner is super friendly, and the food is some of the best Hawaiian I’ve had. Huge portions, too!

No frills mom and pop joint with generous and delicious portions. One of the best teriyaki spots in the South Bay.

Fried noodles.
Decent taste. I would order again. Price on Maps menu is incorrect, its almost $12.
I came here several times a year before the owner change, food was much better. Teri beef sandwich was good.
Then I was here a few years ago after the owner change.
I will return.

Came here with a friend that is a regular here. I had the beef & mahi mahi combo plate, which includes their macaroni salad and lettuce salad. The beef didn’t taste fresh as if it was premade and warmed up in a microwave. The mahi mahi was better, but overcooked 30 seconds too long. The highlight of my meal were their salads. By the way, if you get a combo with a drink-soda, it’s a can and not from their soda dispenser.
The owners were very friendly and showed me the kitchen since I had inquired about their business for sale sign. I was quite appalled from what I saw. Their kitchen was filthy; it was like something from Kitchen Nightmare with Gordon Ramsay. It appears they haven’t cleaned their kitchen in months. I’ve been in quite a few kitchens since I was previously a business broker and helped restauranters. This place has got to be the dirtiest kitchen I’ve ever been in. I’m shocked they received an A rating from LACHD.
I will never eat here again. I wish the owners much success in selling their business.

Enjoy authentic Hawaiian cuisine for a ridiculously low price. This classic plate lunch style joint serves generous portions of flavor packed food; it’s no wonder this place has been in business for the last 60 years. Locals from the islands will not be disappointed in the least. Choose from a variety of local dishes. The lau lau is proper, as it includes the pork belly and butterfish. The chicken katsu is off the chain, but a request for the curry katsu option is highly recommended. The loco moco stay garranz fo’ quell any kanak attack (sooouuu-peh!). If you want to switch it up on the pupus at your next get-together or football/UFC night, pass on the Wing Stop and get a fat order of the Hawaiian wings instead. Get your grind on!
