The food is usually good when I eat here, but I hadn’t been there in a while and when I came back to get some, the food was just okay. It wasn’t anything special, I think they started adding a new seasoning to the food and it makes it all taste pretty similar and adds a weird sort of cajun favor in my opinion. It’s good for what it is and it’s still chinese food, so either way if you want it, I say its good to get.

I’ll be back! Chinese food was so good! It’s the best sesame chicken I’ve had in the Birmingham area to be honest. Had a crisp to it instead of sogginess like most places. Excellent.

The employees were super friendly. That was refreshingly nice! The food wasn’t great, but it wasn’t absolutely horrible, either. I definitely wouldn’t ever say, “I sure am craving Teriyaki Express today.” The food was lukewarm and somewhat flavorless, especially at $13.00+ for a one-person lunch! For that price, I’d rather go to Mizu or Kinomi. I get a lot more for lunch (soup, salad, an egg roll, and an entree) for about the same price I paid at Teriyaki Express, plus at Mizu or Kinomi, the food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Needless to say, I was rather disappointed.
