This place, and I cannot stress this enough, deserves 5 stars on every level. The first time I came here, I got a teriyaki burger with bacon and avocado and the price was insanely good. Less than some fast food burgers, and they did not skimp on the bacon or avocado. Best Burger of my life. Devoured it immediately, forgot to take pic. This time I got the chicken cutlet plate. They make everything fresh and the portions are huge. Also, everyone there is incredibly friendly. New favorite spot.

I needed a place to sit so Went in and bought us a couple of bottled drinks and sat at the outside tables. Such a great view and atmosphere. Teriyaki Bistro sits on the corner of Grernleaf Avenue AND Wardman Street. After checking out their menu, we decided to come back after the movie, and CALMLY eat our food
Grandson had cheeseburger kids meal with a fountain drink. Very very good and tasty
My wife and I shared the chicken & beef teriyaki bowl with chredded cabbsge an green onions as our toppings. And teo egg rolls. So delicious. We are definitely coming back again and again and again and again
Service was WONDERFUL clean place. Great ambiance. Cool music, too!

A spot right on the corner in uptown Whittier. My husband and I were walking down the street and didn’t know what to eat. Whittier is home away from home. We used to live nearby and take in all our favourite foods. We happen to be in the area and see all the updated shops and restaurants. We decided to try something new and We were so glad we did. Teriyaki Bistro was so welcoming when we walked in. We chose our option of plate/bowl and our toppings. I thought the toppings were a fun little treat. We waited less than 10 min for our food and ate downstairs. The restaurant was clean and had everything you needed. The restroom is located inside that needs a key. Don’t worry you can’t lose the key… It’s attached to a metal serving spoon
Save some room for dessert. They have ice cream sandwiches.

Been coming here for years, one of the best places to eat in the Uptown Whittier area, the food is always made to order so it can take awhile to come out, the prices are very reasonable here, considering the quality. I highly recommend any of the bowls, the teriyaki burger is also a favorite, on this occasion I went with the Beef Teriyaki Burrito, this is one of those burritos that made you sad after the last bite because it was so good and you’re not sure if you’ll ever have that same experience, definitely recommended if you like teriyaki.

Been wanting to try this place for the longest time and finally made it during business hours!
I got the chicken teriyaki bowl with pineapple and green onion toppings. Chicken was cooked over flames (not pan or wok cooked). Chicken was very tasty and the teriyaki sauce used is the thicker sweet tasting type which I personally prefer. Very tasty dish.
Service was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is nice.
Would I come back? You bet!

Place has great teriyaki bowls and the tofu is also really good. The teriyaki sauce is one of the best I’ve had. Great place for a healthy and inexpensive meal.

Visited Whittier for the first time saw this place on Maps, and so happy I went. Service was very friendly and the food was very tasty and healthy! Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!

1. Guy at the register was extremely rude while taking our order
2. Chicken was dry and food was overpriced
3. My son ordered a kids burger thinking it had cheese but It didn’t so when he went to ask if the burger was missing cheese the man was EXTREMELY rude and told him “kids burger! No cheese!” In an EXTREMELY rude manner. I went up to see what was going on and he continued to be rude and show terrible customer service.
4. When my son went to ask for a box To go, the man (different man from behind the register) cooking also responded in a very rude manner when he asked for the box to go.
