Originally ordered from a different location from what the said when I walked in to pick up my order that I called in from google search. Somehow that was wrong and when i went to pick up order here they said no problem we will call other location and it’s fine we I’ll make it here. So I figured ok no problem. Next thing I know I’m leaving with my food and the original place is calling me about picking up my order and I explained to the and come to find out this place lied and they are not at all affiliated. I was so embarrassed and felt awful to the guy in the phone who was like no they just stole your business. Shame on this! Be better. Times are tough.

Food is always phenomenal. But it is EXTREMELY frustrating when you’re trying to order 1+ hour before closing to be met with attitude and to be declined service. 9/10 people know what time you close, so I don’t understand why the staff feels the need to throw that out before anything else is said. Unfortunately had to take our business elsewhere because of it.

The food and service was outstanding! The heated sub is highly recommended because meat provided is substantial and not wafer thin like the big chains do. Just the right touch of vinegar and oil. Nicely seasoned with pepper as well! Highly recommended!

Absolutely love the place, but for some reason every time I go there they screw up the order. I keep saying give them one more shot; even boycotted for a few months, no did not work. This last visit I was even charged for someone else’s order ( wasn’t even compensated). Sorry but another boycott is in order and hopefully I can find a a place where the food is just as good, but with better service.

For my first time here, I was worried because of how cheap my food was that it was going to be a small serving. I was wrong! Not even $8 and I got a large grilled chicken salad with fries on top that I didn’t even expect to be on there. They were able to tell me all the ingredients that were on my salad before purchasing, and accommodated my request when I asked for no pinto beans. Fries were seasoned very well. Only complaint is they don’t have ceaser dressing, but ranch did the job. I will be back again for sure!

A great deli with very fresh breads and great subs. Worth a stop for an inexpensive lunch.

This was an interesting inclusion on my sandwich. Really appetizing to have to pull this out of my mouth mid-chew. How disgusting.

It was a chicken tender sub, too. No reason for this to be on there. Maybe it’s used to separate portions of deli meat? But this was added after the chicken was fried. Awesome.

Ordered 9 18” subs for my daughter’s graduation, well-sent my mom with a list and my card. My mom, was a tad lost trying to order but a young lady Mia took her time and helped her. Mia was sweet, kind, patient and knowledgeable about the menu and serving sizes. My mom told me that Mia’s disposition put her at ease and she was so very grateful for her. The next day I received a call (sorry I don’t remember the lady’s name) but she offered to even cut and tray the subs for me! The service at East 38th street was amazing to say the least. The food was plentiful and all the guests were very happy at the grad party. Thank you ladies! Supporting local businesses is always the way to go
