Honestly, out of all the sit-in restaurants I’ve ever been to in LA, this is one of my favorites. Very fairly priced, great flavors (like, actually), good portions. I love ordering the chicken tacos or chicken enchiladas and a beer or a margarita. The margaritas are great and don’t taste syrupy. I can’t recall the name of the female employee who always helps/serves us but we love her. This place is very overlooked but I highly recommend it. It’s super fun and chill and it really does have an authentic feeling behind it.

My favorite meal in Studio City: Mixta salad topped with grilled fish. The salad is deceptively simple: fresh shredded lettuce, thin red onions, sliced avocado, lime juice, and salt, topped with a perfectly grilled and seasoned filet. Chips are always crispy and fresh and come with three different salsas. Staff here is also incredibly welcoming.

Absolutely delicious! Great service, food comes quickly, and cozy atmosphere. Went twice two days in a row because of how amazing it was.

Enjoyed a nice evening meal at Tere’s. Food was really good. Quiet on a Monday. Which was actually quite nice. Low key environment. Order up at the till and it’s brought out. The Carne Asada was good. Also really enjoyed the pork tacos. They have a bit of a kick which is nice.

What a disgusting restaurant! A couple of days ago, my family and I, along with our small child, got food poisoning there! We had to call an ambulance that same night due to unbearable stomach pain! The doctor said the food poisoning was serious and life-threatening! I urge the authorities to inspect this restaurant because the conditions there are unsanitary, and, as the doctor said, that’s why we got food poisoning! I absolutely do not recommend this store

That’s a terrible place for visiting. Have been there once and never again. Food was disgusting, service was zero, amenities not clean.
Never again!
Do NOT recommend.

I celebrate my father’s birthday alone now and each year I choose foods that remind me of him. This year I wanted to eat something we made at home often. So puerco con chile verde was my choice, as we both enjoy it a lot. It was really tasty, more spicy than we make it but I enjoyed the change in spice level. The sides were also very nice and the tortillas were very tasty. It made me miss my childhood. Obviously I felt very sentimental today haha. One of my father’s favorite desserts is jericalla, so I got flan as it is easier to find and obviously pretty close. It was also very tasty and I wish he could have tried it. I’m sure he would have enjoyed the food here greatly.

Small location but food is tasty.
3 of us had Carne Asada plate and all agreed was pretty good.
Hand Made tortillas are just the best.
If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and grab some lunch.

The cashier guy was super cool, we started joking about micheladas because he saw me order in my Spectrum uniform and was joking about drinking with me on my lunch and that he wouldn’t tell but it was all fun and games of course and just told me they do sell beer if I did choose to get one for my lunch.
The food I got was a godsend, had been craving a good asada quesadilla and it definitely hit the spot.
As for the atmosphere, it was great, outdoor seating was cool for the hour I was there UNTIL a random homeless lady with a lit cigarette chose to sit across from me in the same table and smoke her cigarette looking like she was high off something. I can assure you that it was a one time thing though because the area doesn’t have homeless like that and this place doesn’t have them loitering but it did make me leave. I just said bye and thank you to the cashier and went on my way back to work.
Would highly recommend

(Grade A-) Wanted to try it because it had a good rating. If you drive by, you wouldn’t stop and try because it doesn’t really stand out, it’s so simple looking, sort of like a diner, but the food, with the exception of the chicken taquitos, was excellent. My favorite was the chicken quesadillas, it was surprisingly different than the usual ones you get everywhere. The chicken burrito was good but the rice was a bit much and beans?? Why would you put beans in a chicken burrito? Anyway, next time easy on the rice and no beans please. The Chili Verde was ok, but not spectacular, it was like an A- but still good. Carne Asada tacos were definitely an A+ I loved it! The chips, while they charge an extra $1.50 are spectacular, after eating it I knew why other places give it away for free and they charge for it. I hope this helps.
