We ordered for a party of 4. We spent around $100. I ordered 3 different kinds of tacos, to go. The meat/filling on one of the tacos were not in the tortilla but placed on the side of the other tacos and they placed the supposed tortilla on top of the filling.
Makes me wonder the care and hygiene they give when making food.
When we picked up our online order, the person at the counter just pointed us to pick up our order on table 3. It felt like no customer service at all.
The taquitos were so tiny, i get better food and price from the food truck I go to on pico.

Tere’s is a small storefront in a small strip mall. Parking is easy. The Website does not show photos of this one. There are a few others that are very pretty and bigger. This is not that. This one is not pretty and it is sort of dumpy. But it is spotless and it is great. We like this one the best.

You go to the counter to order and have a seat, there are not a lot. They brought us our food, I don’t know if they always do that. I think this place does a lot of take away and delivery.

The menu is on the wall and they have quite a few things you won’t find at a typical Mexican restaurant.

The service is super nice. I had a hard time reading the board (forgot glasses) and they were there to help. They also were so nice when they brought our food. It was exactly as ordered and hot.

The food is great. We loved all of it. The Nachos are great and if you order a side of guacamole it is a huge serving and great. Their burritos are super as our their enchiladas. All the fish dishes are very good and very fresh.

You will love this little hole in the wall. It is wonderful.

It’s in a little strip mall with the tiniest of parking lots. I’ve been coming to this place for since 2008. It’s comfort food. A long time ago they won some award for their tortillas, I think. It’s been a long time.

My go to has been the carne asada nachos. They remind me of the nachos is grew up with and the places that served them in the OC when I was going to CSUF. Home made tortilla chips slathered with beans, real cheese, tons of meat… you know the drill.

I did break away from my normal routine. I partook in the machaca breakfast burrito. It was fantastic and bursting in the seams. It had rice, fluffy eggs, some guacamole, sour cream, onions, and tender machaca beef.

The employees were friendly and just great. They gave me two servings of hot sauce, which is greatly appreciated. Who doesn’t love hot sauce. The burrito came with complimentary chips which helped me scoop the heap of goodies falling out of the burrito.

The indoor seating area is small. They do have an outdoor seating area, but you will have to brave the weather.

There’s more parking on street and the neighborhood, but pay attention to signs.

Great little spot with easy parking. Price is average, but portions are large and the food is really good! Our meal was awesome, recommend the grilled chicken mixto salad and the carne asada special. Everything was fresh, well cooked, and flavorful. Great atmosphere with the red checkered table clothes and wall art. Friendly staff. Meal came out fast.

I recently visited Tere’s Mexican Restaurant for the first time with a friend. Unfortunately, the food I ordered was disappointing—it tasted pre-cooked and lacked flavor. However, my friend’s torta was delicious. Despite my initial experience, I’m willing to give it another try to see if they have improved.

I’ve been going to this place over 10 years and the food is still great and consistent. Parking can be rough as it’s a small parking lot. In addition, there is a ton on traffic on Melrose trying to get on the freeway, so avoid Melrose if possible. Currently only seating outside. One of the best Horechata drinks you’ll ever have. Recommended restaurant.

Excellent Mexican food in a part of town with very few legitimate options. I had chorizo con huevos. Amazing! The rice and beans pass the test as does the chorizo! They give you handmade tortillas with your food. Service is good. Parking is often an issue even though they have a small lot.

It may look like a side Mexican restaurant that’s part of a strip mall, but this place houses top quality food with familiar dishes and authentic taste.

Best to have cash on you.
I got their noodle soup with chicken, comes with short think noodles in a tomato based broth. Probably the best chicken noodle soup I’ve ever had. Served with choice of tortilla, slice of lime and some queso, I was in heaven as I devoured the whole bowl.

Their quesadillas are bomb. Their burritos are huge. You can’t go wrong here if you like Mexican food. Their salsas are fresh. I like their pickled carrots that are also spicy. If you want jalapeños or grilled chilies, order that along with your meal.

Plenty of seating inside and outside. And free parking out front.

Love Tere’s! I come here all the time. The burritos are delicious, the breakfast burritos are the restaurant itself is small, a few tables inside, a few tables outside. The service is friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone.
