I did not have to wait a long time to receive my food, and the food was delicious! I ordered plantains, chicken and rice, fufu, and a yogurt drink. I have never tried fufu before, so it was a really interesting experience! I recommend getting it with a soup though, since it didn’t go well with the food that I ordered. The yogurt drink was very thick and creamy, and delicious especially! The rice and chicken were also very delicious, and I enjoyed eating it with the plantains. I left this restaurant with a full belly and very content!

What kind of thing is this? The last six orders my fufu arrived INEDIBLE, hard like rubber so it can bounce when dropped! Was a regular customer for years, restaurant refused to make it right and did not even apologize for six orders inedible food. They lost a whole family of customers for good.

This is ridiculous! The fufu and greens should have been separated it’s not one dish. And look at the fufu like it’s been fondled with. It was cold. Greens were over spiced extra cold and meaty . And the curry chicken is oily no flavor. I don’t think I’ll order from here again. No no.

Best Oxtail with rice and red beans this side of the Caribbean. Large portion serves 2-3 people. Great selection of drinks, sodas and juices. Friendly and fast service. Customers waiting in line should be respectful, employees don’t have time for customer attitude.

I ordered fufu and received dry mush. This is not how you make and serve fufu. I had to put it on the stove and pound it myself thank god I was staying in a hotel with a stove otherwise I would be pissed. Food was disgusting hardly any flavor and there was no meat in the egusi. First picture is how it arrived and Last picture is what authentic African fufu looks like after I cooked it how it was supposed to be cooked.

The fish and rice, plus, side of plantains I ordered were really good. However, the tomato sauce that goes with the meal smelled bad, almost like poop. It smelled so bad that it made me skeptical about eating it. *Please note; it’s always had a strong pungent smell. I just never noticed it being this bad.
The service was terrible, in the past I was a regular customer. I hadn’t been in a while so I decided to stop in for lunch, for me and my son. The place has really gone down hill as far as customer service.
I placed my order over the phone, before I could ask how much it was going to be, the lady who answered dropped the phone, (not hung up) I assume she was in a rush. So I hung up after briefly taking note of what sounded like chaos, going on in the background.
I got in there to pick up our food, and just as I had suspected, chaos. The two ladies at the front working the register and taking orders were bickering with one another, service was rushed, the one was rudely speaking to customers who were placing orders, the one who took my order charged me for a drink that I didn’t order. However, she did take it off after I told her I didn’t order it.
The energy was just off. I don’t like to eat at places where the energy is off because I truly believe that same energy goes into the food. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

This was the very last chance. I’m done. Teranga is not the same anymore. This is a photo of my fufu(pounded yam) it’s dried out like cake with an even thicker leather like layer over top of it. My egusi is so watery and unflavored like it was cut with water. This isn’t the first time and I’m completely done after today.

Twice we ordered lamb and rice through door dash and were served roast! We called to see if we could get a refund or a new order and the manager literally argued with us and told us its door dashed fault! Be careful ordering through 3rd party. Most ma not know the aquired taste of lamb but as a cook who loves lamb I knew instantly that it was roast. As I confronted the manager she continued to argue and pleaded that they were for the community! No its a scam, its fraud and its theft!! I don’t play about my food and I genuinely love there food. But to find out they were doing this was distasteful! I recorded 2 videos showing roast! Know your meat or go into the restaurant! Lamb doesn’t have fat! They are scamming customers

We tried several different dishes and everything was amazing! The Jamaican curried goat taste exactly like what we tried in Jamaica several months ago! The staff was polite and helpful and our food arrived quickly even when the restaurant was busy!
