Loved their ramen, noodles were great too. Chicken buns were delicious. Everything is so yummy! Staff is very friendly, reasonably priced too.

The beef udon noodles were absolutely delicious. The broth had a rich, savory depth that tasted like it had been simmered for hours, and the udon noodles were perfectly chewy—soft enough to soak up the flavor but still with that signature bounce. The beef was tender, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the warmth of the broth. I decided to add a boiled seasoned egg which added another texture to the ramen which was super tasty. Every bite felt comforting and satisfying. Definitely a bowl I’d go back for again. The establishment was super cute but small and narrow.

ordered the char siu bowl and the takoyaki — came out in less than 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious! i do see some reviews about the mandatory tip added — i don’t mind it personally, but it is something to watch out for. nevertheless, i’d come back to this place — flavorful, fatty cuts of pork and cheaper takoyaki than other places

This place is such a wonderful find! I don’t come here often, but I am always happy when I visit. My go to meals are onigiri appetizer and the pork cutlet curry. Ramen choices are all great too.

Customer service is just as amazing as their food. You are greeted kindly and quickly. Prices are reasonable too.

Pay a visit if you are ever craving comfort food while in the area!

Can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. All extremely delicious. The portion sizes are also quite large which is awesome if you’re really hungry. The waitresses are truly friendly and incredible. The only small note I have is that the restaurant is a bit cramped if you have a mid/large sized party.

This place will satisfy your ramen craving, but it won’t blow your mind.

We started with the tempura shumai. They serve six battered and deep fried shumai, three on each skewer. The tempura was crispy, but the shumai didn’t have much shrimp flavor, just a lot of doughy chewiness. Still, it comes with a spicy sauce that’s umami-rich and easily soaked up by the tempura coating. A good starter.

The ramen is good enough. The noodles are fresh and tender. The pork belly melts in your mouth. We tried both the signature and the miso ramen, and I think the miso was better. But there was nothing special about either.

The place was crowded, but that adds an energetic ambience. One issue: they clearly do a lot of Uber eats takeout, you see tons of to-go food heading out the door, and the drivers hold the door open, so it was drafty and cold on a very chilly night when we were trying to warm up with hot broth.

Overall, it was a good, filling meal at a fair price. I’d go back.

Literally outstanding! Picked it randomly while passing by. Try the TAKOYAKI! Couldn’t get over how delicious it was. No joke. Also loved the Spicy Ramen bowl. Very good spice level. Not wimpy. Was like a level 7 out of 10 on the spiciness. Was perfect. In a nice area of University City. I’ve already thought about bringing others there to check it out since I left! Service was awesome too and genuine. Can’t say enough good about it. . On my new faves list!

A must try ramen spot in Philly!

We had a great experience at Terakawa! For appetizers, we ordered the croquette and it was delicious but we were a little surprised by the small portion size. For ramen, I had the vegetarian miso ramen and my partner had the tan tan ramen. Both were fantastic but if I had to choose, I’d go with the Tan Tan Ramen next time. The broth was rich, flavorful and had so much depth compared to the lighter miso broth.

The restaurant itself is super cute with cozy and warm vibes. Our server was attentive and provided great service throughout. I’m 100% coming back to try more of their ramen and appetizers!
