The chips salsa and cabbage thing were good, the cabbage dish was unexpected, but had a great flavor. Nice with the chips.
Dinner was tonight’s special, brirera tacos. Pardon my spelling if that’s incorrect, but they were super good! Stuffed with brisket, not filler. Three were the perfect size for a great meal.
Chicken enchiladas was our other choice, and no surprise, fantastic flavor. Tender enough to cut with a fork, just enough cheese so it’s not overpowering the sauce and filling.
Rice and beans were good as well. You can actually see the pidgin peas, rare it seems.
Overall we were glad we ate here, definitely recommend it if you’re in town.
The Birria was on special and I could have drank all the liquid when I was done. Margs are big and icy, service was excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and intimate. All the portions were generous. We will be back!
Went to the restaurant for dinner. After reading some negative reviews along with lot of positives, was skeptical on my choice. However, our dinner was immensely pleasant. Great ambience and service. Our server for the evening was really good. Food quantity and taste was great. We ordered two entrees for family if 4 with 2 kids and it was enough for us. Kids also enjoyed the food to the fullest.
I highly recommend the restaurant.
The service was excellent. The food was fast, fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms.
My husband had the chicken and steak combo fajitas and mentioned several times how well the meat was seasoned. Also that the onions and peppers were cooked thoroughly and were perfectly tender.
I had cheese and onion enchiladas. I didn’t love the enchilada sauce but the rice and beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. I grew up in Texas, so I’ve had plenty!
Along with the fresh house made salad they served complimentary Mexican cabbage and it was so flavorful. I had never had that before.
Tequilas and as some of the best Mexican food that we’ve had in Colorado.
