We got here around 6:45pm on November 1 after being told there was a 40 minute wait at Pies and Pints. Tequila Taco Bar seated us immediately and served chips, salsa, and white sauce. I ordered the Quesabirrilia and Margarita tropical (strawberry mango) and my boyfriend ordered the Chorri pollo burrito and a Negra Modelo. All of it was delicious. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. We plan to come back during our trip to get happy hour drinks.

We came here before visiting the New River Gorge National Park. Although it sells classic food options, the vibe is a bit more modern than traditional Mexican restaurant. The food was not bad, but some of them were a bit too much sauce & a bit too oily for us. Otherwise, overall it’s not bad as a quick stop before going into the nature.

I stopped for lunch and really good meals we were seated instantly and had our food not long after our drinks maybe 10 minutes. The dinner really good job in the seasoning flavors were perfect spot on authentic style Mexican food taste much better than most of the big chain Mexican restaurants. We were promptly greeted and seated, chips and some seriously great salsa and dip followed quickly.
The food and drink menus have just about anything you’d want, even the kids menu has choices! Never feeling rushed to make a decision (awesome!) our server was super friendly and quick with our food and drinks. She told great care of us and checked in on us just the right amount! She was awesome!
The food was outstanding!! Too often places taste generic and the same, this cannot be said for here! Everything tasted fresh and homemade…. And it was a lot of food!
Exceptionally please with the food, the cost and the friendliness we found here! It might be more of a drive from our local restaurants but anytime we craving Mexican food, we’ll be headed to the Tequila Taco Bar in Fayetteville!!

The wife and I visited while RVing in the area. We were quickly seated and served chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and the salsa was excellent. Christian was our server and he was fabulous. Very energetic and serviceable. He took our drink order and brought it to us within a couple of minutes. I ordered the Tacos Campechanos and my wife had the pizza birria and a homemade sangria. Everything was so good. The birria sauce was my favorite. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Great ambiance. We had a great time. You must visit this place.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food! I was here a couple of weeks ago on a hike/bike girls’ trip and we came upon this cute restaurant. Food was sooooo good, that my husband and I stopped in on our way home from Hilton Head Island. Highly recommend!

We’re local to the area and have been to the Tequila Taco Bar at least a half dozen times since it opened about a month ago. That should tell you all you need to know! They have leveled up Mexican food in Fayette county. The dishes are well portioned, saucy, and delicious. I highly recommend Carnitas Verde, Carnitas Patron, the taco flight, or any of the seafood tacos! The best part of the Tequila Taco Bar is that they have leveled up the food without leveling up the price! Keep up the good work, amigos!

Christian our server was fantastic! He recommended the chimichangas with steak chicken and shrimp and it did not disappoint. The mango margaritas were legendary! Homemade guacamole to boot. Don’t miss this gem!

Best Mexican food in the area. It is a mix of authentic Mexican cuisine and Americanized. But the service, food and price are all good. My favorite dish is Pork Carnitas in chili Verde.
