Tequila Sunrise Mexican Grill at the Nashville Airport was a great surprise during my layover. The service was outstanding — friendly, fast, and attentive from start to finish. The team truly made the experience enjoyable, especially for airport dining where things can often feel rushed or impersonal.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a lively energy that made it a relaxing spot to grab lunch before my next flight.
The food was good overall, though a couple of items could’ve had a little more flavor or freshness to match the excellent service. Still, everything was well-prepared and satisfying.
If you’re passing through BNA and want a reliable, enjoyable meal with fantastic service, this is a solid choice. I’d absolutely come back.

I came for the karaoke. It was good and so was the food. The chips and salsa tasted fresh made from scratch. I could have eaten chips and red salsa all night, but I took a chance and got the ceviche. It was pretty good, especially with the spicy green salsa. I took “Vera Cruiz chicken” to go and it was a hit for the next day’s lunch.
My server seemed flustered and was having a bit of an off night, but she was very sweet. At the end, I got everything I ordered.

My aunt and I stopped to eat and sip our way through a leisurely lunch. Our waitress, Lee, was attentive and just as sweet as can be… even pausing to take a picture of us. We both had margaritas and the generous special, which allows you to try each of the three types of tacos (chicken, fish, or beef) we loved them all, but my favorite was the fish. I highly recommend this place, for the service, the food and the margaritas!

We are in Wilton for a couple of months and are use to mexican food once a week. We tried Tequila Sunrise based on a referral and we are so glad we did. From the time we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile from the hostess. Our server Ashley was fantastic from start to finish. She was extremely helpful with our selections, explaining all of the features and specials that the restaurant offers, and there are a lot. She also made our fishbowl margaritas and is apparently also a bartender, love that. And they were delicious! Fridays are half price on margaritas and we were all about it. The burritos we selected were huge and delicious with rice and beans and a delicious brown sauce. The salsa was also a hit and keeps coming with the chips. Overall a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back next week! Oh and the atmosphere was laid back with tables and booths and patio seating with tvs. We highly recommend this place!

Now, I’ll keep it real—the service was great. Our server did their job, no complaints there. But the food couldn’t back it up. And then the slick part? They tack on a credit card fee without telling you ahead of time. That’s not just bad business, that’s shady. If you gon’ charge extra, at least have the decency to give a heads up.
Bottom line: I wasted a drive from Miami, wasted my money, and wasted my appetite. Tequila Sunrise, this was the first and last time.
