This is a rather new Mexican restaurant in a very small town. We decided to visit for lunch. I ordered the street tacos and my wife had the shredded chicken nachos. The large guacamole dip was very good too. The whole place was nice and clean. The staff was fast and attentive also. The prices are pretty much in line with other restaurants but a little bit high in my opinion. Parking was okay for us but I can see it being a little difficult upon crowded times. We will visit again sometime soon.

We finally stopped in Tequila & Mezcal after hearing wonderful reviews. They’ve managed to turn the inside of the old Tanners into a beautiful restaurant and bar!
We chose to eat at the bar area and weren’t disappointed one bit at the atmosphere, service, drinks and delicious food! They had the football game going and and the bar area is situated so it feels like a completely different atmosphere then the general dining area.
We ordered the watermelon margarita which was top notch! We started with the chorizo dip and salsa for an app and it was cheesy and full of chorizo, delicious. I had the crabmeat enchiladas (covered with queso) and rice, it was fresh, hot and amazing. The enchiladas tasted homemade and the lunch portion was large enough I shared a couple of bites. My husband had the lunch chicken burrito, which came with beans and rice. The same review holds true for his dish, fresh, hot and tasty.
The portions were plenty and we were even able to enjoy the lunch specials on a weekend which is almost unheard of, like a foodies dream special. It’ll keep us coming back on weekends for sure. We both rate 10 out of 10 for Tequila Mezcal! We’re so excited to have a quality Mexican restaurant in the Henryville area. We live a few miles away and our kids have even had DoorDash delivery from them to our home (the tacos are delish as well).
Whether you are a local or rolling by on I-65, their location is barely a mile off the exit ramp and won’t slow you down, stop in for a meal!

The food is really good. Service is normally very good. If you order a pickup order to go make sure to verify it before you head to restaurant. We have had our order not even be started twice now. We still love the restaurant.
