A Wonderful First-Day Surprise!
We stumbled across a brand-new New Mexican restaurant here in Inverness and happened to pull in right at 3:00 pm—only to learn they weren’t opening until 5:00 pm for their very first day. A little disappointed, we turned to leave… and that’s when the owner came out, smiled, and said, “Please come in—you’re our first customers!”
From that moment on, we knew this place was going to be special.
The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and truly made us feel welcome.
On a restaurant’s first day, you don’t always expect perfection—but the food was outstanding. We ordered the chicken enchilada, burrito, a chili dish, and a cheese enchilada. Every single plate was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.
And the margaritas? Easily the best we’ve had. They feature homemade tequila, and you can truly taste the difference.
We highly recommend this new spot in Inverness. They also have several established locations in Orlando under the Don Julio group, so clearly they know what they’re doing!
There’s even a coffee bar inside, which we were too full to try this time—but we’ll definitely be back for it.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! We sat at the bar and had impeccable service from Kalen, Josh, & Hannah. There was a little bit of a wait but they gave us free beer, tequila shots, margarita samplers, AND chips & queso (amazing, all of it)! We were immediately greeted when we sat down at the bar and were brought chips and the freshest, yummiest salsa. I got the spicy marg and it was fantastic!!! HUGE portion and it was only $13! For dinner, we tried a handful of things and cannot recommend them all enough! The quesabirria was hands down our favorite. Big portion size for the price! We also got tacos, tamales, & enchiladas – all were very authentic, well made, and amazing flavor. Food came out pretty quickly after we ordered too which was great. The whole meal took maybe an hour and a half from the time we got there to when we finished eating but most of that was the wait time from it being their second day and absolutely packed. From the second we walked in we had amazing service!! As amazing as our food was, the service from Josh, Kalen, and Hannah truly set the experience apart from other restaurants in the area! We’ve been eager for this place to open and we can’t wait to make this a regular spot for us!!

Went there today as a soft opening. Avery are server was amazing. All the food was off the charts we loved everything only negative. It’s pretty expensive. Hopefully they’ll have some happy hours on the margarita prices besides that it was all worth it.

Our server Nat- Nathalie was on her A game and ran circles to ensure everyone was taken care of! Everyone was so friendly and the food was phenomenal. Their tres leches reminded me of my step mom’s but better. There wasnt one thing that could make this place better except maybe bigger chip dishes lol.

Atmosphere: They did a great job with a total remodel. The floors, seating, and overall vibe is great. There is a lot of seating. I counted around 110 people there tonight and still had plenty of seating. It doesnt “feel” like you are in the small town of Inverness. Feels like you went to a nice restaurant inTampa or Orlando
There were also people sitting and eating and watching a couple of Basketball games, enjoying their meal in the Bar Area.
Service: When we drove up, the parking lot was FULL, but we went ahead and got a table. Host said the wait was 20 minutes, but we were seated in 10ish minutes. The service was Amazing, but I think because it is a soft opening they have a Ton of Servers and WAIT Staff. There was 25-35 Employees like a busy bee hive. They wanted to put their “best foot forward” and they definitely DID THAT!
FOOD: The price was very competitive to the pricing of restaurants. I got a dinner of 3 El Pastor Tacos with Beans and Rice for $17 and my wife got the Carne Asade (Steak) for $26. Both are price right because they give you enough to leave full and satisfied. You don’t feel like “you paid too much” for what they give. The Tacos were full of meat and the Carne Asada, although thin was a generous amount.
The Plating was nice. Before you taste it…you Look at it. And it was plated very well.
Now the TASTE… GREAT!!! I was a little worried because most “hole in the wall” or “Taco Trucks” usually have the best TACOS. Because the restaurant atmosphere was very nice, sometimes you pay for the atmosphere and not the food. This restaurant DELIVERED the Flavor!! EL PASTOR TACOS…WERE…EL PASTOR!!! Most Mexican restaurants “say” El Pastor, but they just add the Annatto seasoning and makes the pork orange. I am used to El Pastor having grilled Pork and Grilled Pineapple…and THIS was PERFECT! If you know El Pastor…You will Love theirs! The Carne Asada was Marinated for a good amount of time. The flavor was inside the steak. Thin and TENDER. And Generous Amount.
I hope that after many years that they are consistent with everything I experienced tonight. They sure impressed me and my wife in their soft opening. So we will definitely be back and already sending recommendations to our foodie friends…who happen to be Mexican!

Our service was Top Notch. Our Server Lindie Marie was Very knowledgeable when it came to the Menu So it made my Decision very easy for someone that is indecisive when there’s so many good options to choose from. Quality of the food was very delicious with Excellent Presentation and over All Best Service, with a Great experience.

A stand out restaurant. Beautiful decor. Fast service. Delicious food. Greeted by colorful yet classy decor and design. Lit up bar grabs the attention from across the room. We had the pleasure of having Robert as our server. He is so polite and punctual. Freshly made guacamole is a must. You can experience with the whole family or as a date night. Will definitely return. Thank you Robert for making our night special.
