We ordered the shrimp tacos and they were excellent, as was the guacamole and chips for an appetizer! Our server was attentive and patient with two best friends who hadn’t seen each other in awhile and had lots of catching up to do. The holiday decor was still up and WOW! I’m so glad they’ve kept it for January. It’s absolutely gorgeous, so I took a picture of it but not my food!

The service, though, is what stood out most. The owner and host were genuinely pleasant, and my waiter was exceptional — a tall, fit gentleman in his 50s or 60s, white hair, and the calm, precise professionalism of a butler. I should’ve taken note of his name; service at that level is rare.
This is Ridgefield, after all — a town where appearances matter, and the locals often confuse expensive with exquisite. In that context, Tequila Escape fits right in: not overpriced for the flavor, but perfectly priced for those who enjoy paying a little more just to say they did.
Just don’t be surprised if your margarita comes with a splash of sophistication… and a room full of people silently competing to out-fancy each other.

Alfi is AHHmazing! She did an incredible job with our drinks and her service is unmatched. This was my first experience here and I loved it. The happy hour specials are great. I especially enjoyed the pineapple mojito and California nachos were a pleasant surprise! I could have eaten two plates!

The food had no taste and the price for what was serviced was high. The Pico de gallo taste like it was sitting in the freeze uncovered and it observed the odor. This was the 1st time and the last time I ever order from here. 34.00$ for a steak quesadillas and a lemonade? Disappointing!!!

What a great atmosphere, still had some new years decorations up and the place looked awesome! This place was pretty busy on a Saturday night in January, my wife and I were lucky to snag a seat at their awesome lit-up bar! The drinks are phenomenal and the food was delicious. Service was great for how busy they were. I’ve never had an old fashion made with tequila, i can say i was quite impressed with how it came out.

This is not our first time in this place, we have been here no of times (at least 30 times) over past 5 years. Today we had very bad experience with our server. Restaurant is not that busy, me and my wife sitting a back corner table. We may have spent 45 minutes (rather we got pushed out), literally every other minute she is checking on us (breathing over our necks), despite my wife said give us sometime. We have always enjoyed food and drinks here, but after this experience we need to think to come back here or not.

I had dinner here with my family. Servers were super friendly and welcoming. We had ahi tuna tostada, artichoke, octopus salad, beef skewer, Mexican ceviche and shrimp tacos. Food was really tasty but i would say it is not an authentic Mexican cuisine but a mixture of Mexican, Peruvian and Asian.
Cocktails were not too sweet and very balanced flavor. I would love to come back!

The coconut kiwi margarita and crispy chicken tacos are so delicious!! Wish I ordered more of the tacos, they were that good! Alberto was our bartender and he was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely glad I came here!
