I made reservations for a party of 4, 3 weeks in advance, once we got there we were advised to wait 5-10 minutes to have the table ready. We ended up waiting about 20-30 minutes to get seated. The restaurant looks beautiful so we were expecting great food to come. Once we ordered our food, we waited about 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to come, almost 2 hours waiting for our food to come out. In addition to that, the chips from the chips and salsa that they provided were all just crumbs, only 5 whole tortilla chips in the little bowl. After seeing about 5 or 6 times waiters sing Happy Birthday to other tables, we finally got our food. And as I mentioned before we waited almost 2 hours to get our food. Once we got our food we had high hopes, especially for a busy Saturday. Unfortunately, our food was cold once it got to the table and undercooked. Only one dish out of the 4 was cooked. Very disappointed by everything. The only nice thing was how pretty the restaurant looked. The tap water was the only good consumable thing to have there. Even the drinks we had were a bit warm, I’ve never had such a warm Piña Colada. Undercooked chorizo, meat, and tortillas. To add, one of the dishes that was ordered wasn’t complete as per the description that was given in the menu, it was missing an item. It is the first and very last time we will ever go over there. I do not recommend at all. Not worth the time and money.

By far the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Loved the vibe. The salsa and doritos are supreme. The menu is vast and diverse.
The dishes are pefectly seasoned and loaded with more than enough food for one person (you may have trouble finishing your plate.).
Sometimes they have someone singing Spanish classics to really liven up the atmosphere.
I had an amazing time at Tequila’s. Would recommend to anyone that wants to wow a date or a friend with an amazing authentic Mexican experience.
A real 5 star for sure.

Been coming here for 5+ years. My husband and I are regulars. Everything is always great. Yes, here and there it takes awhile for food to come out but all worth the wait. Very lovely place. Great music. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve been seeing 90% same staff members. Gen manager actually helps out and is present at all times. The food?? I’ve made its point to taste different plates and I have. They’ve all been great in taste – maybe some too spicy but hey I get it there has t be some spice lol. Drinks are immaculate. Anywhere you sit you’ll have a good time!

I was looking for a restaurant for a 2:30pm Sunday lunch and decided to give this place a opportunity.
Upon arrival we were seated immediately, & chips with salsa was serve. The place was not busy and had a good vibe.
Folks celebrating Birthdays, families having lunch with the children and tvs playing some Sunday football.
After sitting for a while and no waiter to greet us we waived down a waitress to place a drink order . Again place was not busy, plenty of tables empty.

After 35 min we finally place our food order, nothing complicated ( enchiladas doña chuy, enchiladas verdes & pollo tampiqueña) we notice that waitresses was lost and figured order will be fairly quick with an easy order.

After waiting for 1hr our order still did not come out , nor did the waitress give any update. We requested the check and to have food box up to go.
Manager was not available per staff, on a Sunday??
To make a long story short and add insult to injury. I rate the food a 1 , rice was over cooked ( looked burnt and color was brown) , refried beans look dry and hard as if they have been reheated several times and Enchiladas Dona chuy where to spicy and not edible but the chicken empanisada was good , enchiladas verdes de pollo did not have flavor and presentation was bad.
Rate this place a 0 but inside appearance a 9, lesson of the day LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING !

Good food poor service, from what I observed the male server was more attentive to his guest, better than our female server. She never came to check on us or offer another drink or to see if we needed anything like our second order of tortillas that came with our meal because we ordered two of the same dish. So we packed our meal and we left this establishment… as a former server I know the fundamentals and the importance of being a good server to your guest, it’s really not that hard to check on your table especially when we’re your only table that we seen her servicing. You shouldn’t be hiding in the back with the cooks or bar, whatever you’re doing it would’ve been nice to have a glass of water with my meal that’s the whole point of service is coming to check on your guests to see if we can offer anything, and up sale anything. Customer service goes a long way I hope you fix your work ethics.

We arrived at 6Pm on a Tuesday and they don’t had, burgers, anything with chicken, no stuffed peppers and their frozen drink machine was broken.

The server was great and apologized every time we asked for something that was not available.

We just left very unsatisfied!
Party of 9 excited to enjoy the “ El patron “ on the menu. We all ordered our drinks when it came to ordering our food she told us there was no more meat only Tomahawk. We had to look over the menu again to see if we want something else. We asked for camarones zarandeados she told us they didn’t have that either! Well if you don’t have anything why don’t you tell the customers, but charged us $90 for just drinks!!!! We weren’t the only ones that walked out! We let everyone know that was waiting to be seated not to wait.

February 7th was not my first time here but it is my last. I have gone on several occasions since they moved locations, and the food used to be delicious. That is what kept us going back. I had made a reservation on January 10 for 14 people. By January 18 I emailed them to inform them that my party was for 20 people.

They claimed to have not gotten my email.

They sit us after making us feel uncomfortable for the business not checking their email correspondence (specifically the hostess). Our waiter was nothing but kind and gracious. My review is not of him or his service. If anything, I hope he finds a business that can appreciate him.

We waited for over 2 hours for our food (which never came), when we decided to leave. They give us a $700 almost $800 bill because of drinks… which we did consume, but we only were forced to order bc we had hopes our food would come eventually… we were also very shocked that they didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience (because we consumed it). The owner called security on our table because we told the owner that he clearly doesn’t know how to manage. The employees hadn’t been paid in over 2 weeks… they had no shrimp…. They had no chicken… they ran out of modelos. It’s only 7pm at this point (reservations were at 6pm) on a Saturday night. Overall seems like they were ill prepared for the entire night and on a $700 tab I’m shocked you’re not able to pay your employees. We finally left a little before 11pm. No one ate.

Again our waiter was fantastic, but I won’t be returning anymore and neither will the 19 other guests.

I visited yesterday evening around 7:15-7:30 pm with my family. The restaurant was very packed, especially in the waiting lobby area. We went inside to speak with the hostesses, and I was placed on the waiting list. However, no one told us that we needed to wait in the lobby area.
After standing there for a bit, one of the hostesses (curly hair-half up hairstyle) approached us and asked if we had a reservation. I explained that we were on the waiting list. In a very rude tone, she told us that since we didn’t have a reservation, we needed to wait in the lobby. There was no “please” or polite explanation just a very dismissive and unfriendly attitude.
The interaction made my family and me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Unfortunately, because of the way we were treated, we decided to leave and go somewhere else for dinner. Customer service and communication make a big difference in a busy restaurant, and this experience really put us off.

Horrible service, had to keep asking at least 3 times for tortillas and drinks. Felt like our table was just getting ignored. The food was alright but definitely not worth it. This place also has auto gratuity for 4 or more people but they don’t let you know before ordering. Probably why the server didn’t care about giving good service since they’re getting gratuity either way. Would definitely Not recommend this place.
