My husband and I came here for a lunch for my husband’s birthday. We just moved here from Texas and being in Reno, I’ve been having difficulties finding a really good Mexican restaurant. The spot definitely is on top of my list here! The food and service was so great! I got the Asada quesadilla and my husband got the chicken enchiladas and then we got chips and guac for the appetizer! Everything was so flavorful and fresh, we will definitely be back! Crystal was at the bar serving us and her service was great. She was kind and very chill!

food was edible but disappointing. enchilada was a plate of cheesy slop. no flavor. we had guacamole, wasn’t memorable. salsa was foamy, almost fermenting.
service wasn’t bad, but that’s about it. seemed to care less that we were there. acknowledged the salsa looked strange, but still served it.
maybe we came on an off night, but we’ll never be back to find out 🙁

Midtown location makes driving/parking an issue. Ordered tacos as did my companion. Pork and salmon which we each tried. Moderately busy on a weekend night. We came late around 9. Serve till 10. Bar open till 12. Servers were friendly. Service was good, even with a large group seated after us. Had been looking at menu online, was informed many of the items were no longer available. Both dishes were somewhat bland. Portions were good as well as the prices. As a chef, I’m not sure I’d recommend with so many other exciting choices available. More of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant feel.

Beautiful ambience Mexican restaurant in midtown Reno. Before our flight back to NY we had a quick lunch and it was good.
What made special was their corn tortilla shell. It was handmade and had amazing texture. Have not seen corn tortilla like this since I went to Cabo.
Service was friendly. Place is very well decorated and I likeded the wall of tequila. They have over 600 kinds of tequilas.
Overall we had a nice lunch.

The shrimp tacos I had here were by far the best I’ve ever tasted. The ingredients were so fresh, and you can tell they really put a lot of care into their food. I think I’m going to become a regular at this place. I’ve been to the top 3 taco spots in San Diego, and this place definitely holds its own. I’m so glad that a restaurant like this has opened in Reno!

The sweet corn was amazing, definitely worth the price. The shrimp Tacos were also excellent and the mango salso was fresh and delicious. The server accommodated my picky 11 yr old daughter and was super nice. Highly recommend this place even if you aren’t a tequila fan.

A fun place to go with 3-4 people to experience a LARGE selection of tequila. Maybe they have larger tables in the back of the restaurant. They allow you to create your own flights. Our guacamole was tasty and I highly recommend their shrimp appetizer (requested heads removed, sorry). Molcajete left something to be desired. The corn was a nice twist, but extra burnt cheese and the base turned into a thick goopy paste… I heard others around rave about their tacos, so ill go that route next time. Overall pleased and will be back soon! Check them out.
