Lovely food. Great chef. I feel you pay for experience over food. £230. Food a little bland and not a lot of it. Terrible music, should be authentic Japanese music! Chef was good, doesn’t really say much though.

It was a very lovely lunch experience. We shared the Samurai and ordered 2 appetisers. It was very filling for two people. Very rich and full of flavour. The chef was so nice, had a lovely conversation with him about where he’s from ☺️

Very welcoming by the staff. After a glass a wine and food ordered the chef came to my table with all the food to cook in front of me. This was an experience in it self. The food was so good. When back in Manchester this will be my first call again

Is our 1st time here and the food is amazing, we order the set menu so we can taste of everything. Service is superb, environment is welcoming and friendly. A chef preparing our food in front of us, amazing presentation. Definitely will come back again and definitely recommended.

Great experience with the Chef cooking the food in front of you! ‍ I went for the Imperial menu (£55). Great variety of choice and very professional staff. ️

We came here on a work night out. Firstly it was great that they could accommodate 31 people. That’s a big positive.

However, we didn’t get any of the “show” cooking that you get in other Teppanyaki restaurants, and that was a bit disappointing.

Whilst the food was ok, it wasn’t anything special to write home about. The portions were massive, especially the sea food, but it wasn’t really out of this world, and I don’t think it was worth the £55 per head for the Imperial, which over half of us had. That said, the cost of food is high everywhere these days; it’s a sign of the times.

Would I come back? Probably not, but that’s because there are so many other places to try, and nothing to do with the quality and standard of the food and service. It just didn’t have that wow factor.

We had a great meal here. Our chef was very entertaining and great to learn more about his life story.

The food was traditional Japanese Teppanyaki and we had 3 set meals (salmon, steak and duck). All were cooked to a very high standard in front of us.

It was a birthday treat but would recommend for more general dining. There are deals available for quick lunches if that way inclined.

Would certainly come back again.

Me and my boyfriend came here for our 2 year anniversary and had a fantastic experience. I’ve never done this sort of thing before so was a little nervous but they assured us on the way in there would be no gimmicks. It was a little quiet but we were told it picks up around 7pm. However, the staff were quick and attentive, the food was delicious and Ronnie our chef made the whole experience amazing. Best fried rice we have ever tried. Would recommend to anyone!

Was in Manchester and decided to go to china town and try this place. I’ve been to a teppanyaki before and loved it.

Upon entry into the building there is a small set of stairs that you need to go up and they do have a lift but was out of order at the time. Not ideal if you’re carrying a pram etc…

This place was decent! Food was a little bland but cooked to perfection. the experience was great the host chef was to the point and got on with it but was polite and friendly.

They do signpost before coming in that they’re not about the gimmicks.

There was about 10 of us that went and most of the group hadn’t been before or experienced this type of dining so would have been nice to see the juggling of eggs and unique cooking methods haha!

Price wise I thought it was a bit expensive but did enjoy the experience and food overall.

Starters are cooked by the kitchen and the mains are cooked at your table, when I’ve been to other teppanyaki everything is cooked at your table which adds to the experience I feel.

Overall enjoyable, good location in the city centre, parking is decent although we went on a Sunday so was quiet in surrounding streets and got parked pretty close.
