Giving my 5 stars to their Tonkotsu (Pork Broth) Ramen. The quality of the ramen met high standards of Authentic Japanese ramen. Thick and rich broth, perfect quality of the noodles, and they were so generous of the amount of the meat (marinated pork shoulder). Highly recommendable experience there. It won’t disappoint you.

Teppan Express is one of my go-to spots in Roanoke. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Their hibachi is excellent, and the noodles are some of the best around — you can really taste how fresh everything is. On top of that, the service is consistently incredible: fast, efficient, and friendly every time I visit. Highly recommend if you want a quick, satisfying meal that never disappoints!

10/10! I’ve been twice and everything I have had is good! I’ve tried the hibachi and they give you a lot which is great. I’ve tried the spicy miso ramen and another spicy ramen. Each ramen is so good. I don’t know how you can choose.
I’m sure everything else on the menu is great but once you tried something good, it’s hard to deviate.
I’ve had gyoza and summer spring rolls as well. Both delicious.

Last 2 trips here, asked for no white sauce extra ginger. Both times, NO ginger sauce but I had plenty of white sauce. I know I’m in the minority, but I do not like the white sauce. Food is good, but very simple requests can’t be accommodated. I was crystal clear with my request. After the previous experience, I asked her to repeat I did not want any white sauce, just ginger, and yet white sauce it is. I let it go last time as a simple mistake but at this point is it intentional? I tip well every time and love to support local business. Don’t think I can go here again. Just check your order is all I can suggest. Sad.

I usually avoid businesses without reviews, but I’ve been waiting for this place to open for a while now and had to try it. When I stopped by I had missed lunch hours, but I was able to see inside and it looked really cute and well organized. But I was able to get delivery for dinner. I got seaweed salad, some noodles, and the Hibachi Shrimp plate to split. The food was very fresh and I loved the diversity of veggies with my meal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and were super tasty. Definitely an improvement on most fast Hibachi places I know. Portions very sizable and great price point. I definitely will be ordering again and glad to have a Japanese eatery in the Cave Spring area.

I’ve searched high and low for a decent Japanese place to eat and I’ve finally food it. This place is awesome. From the customer service to the taste of the food everything exceeded my expectations. The food was very flavorful and hot with nice size portions. I was checked on by the staff to make sure everything was to my liking and the ambience of the place was nice as well. I will probably be eating here at least once a week.

Amazing experience! The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, making it perfect to relax and enjoy a meal. I ordered the unadon, and it was absolutely delicious. The eel was cooked perfectly with just the right balance of flavors. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu!

Newest addition to our favorites list. Had the Tsukiji Shoyu with pepper powder and WOW! Amazing food with fantastic service. We dined in and you can tell the owner took pride in tying the atmosphere together with authentic dishes. Can’t wait to explore more of the menu on return visits.
