Amazing, authentic smokehouse experience. We saw the billowing smoke driving by and we had to stop. Wings and sausage is top tier, but that brisket is just phenomenal. Tender and juicy, it’s everything I miss about real southern smoked BBQ. The sleeper hit with the wife was the curry baked beans. Highly recommend if you want real smoked meats.

I don’t know what happened but I had a bad batch of food. The brisket was ashy hard overcooked and chewy. The pulled pork wasn’t even pulled. It look like he struggled to pull it apart so it was just chucks of meat. Wasnt tender at all. The beans were ok but it tasted like he used some type of curry or indian seasoning. The rib tips were very tender but was not satisfied with the sauce in my opinion. The coleslaw was flavorful. I don’t think I’m coming back or maybe that just wasn’t his day.

Been trying to check these guys out for a while, finally made it there today. Met up with Josh the owner. Super nice guy. Has a huge smoker on site. Been the owner for around 3 years. Decided to order some rib tips with half the order with spicy sauce and half with sweet sauce. Both were excellent, the spicy just a bit of heat to it. The sweet was actually my favorite, perfect taste. Also ordered some coleslaw which was excellent, nice fresh fixings, it had a nice blend of celery seeds with the greens, and a sweet and sort of sour sauce to it. Really tasty. On to the finale, Mac and cheese, super creamy with a great blend of cheese. It was so tasty. OMG!!! And how much did he pay to get it to snow while I was there?? LOL!! Get out and check this small business out.

Delicious ribs! Huge! Fall off the bone! The sauce is so good! The ribs are all I’ve had so far, so I’ll be back to try the other food!
I don’t understand the negative reviews, these ribs are definitely smoked and they pulled my rack straight off of the smoker!

I could smell the smoker all weekend from my nearby home, finally stopped in for Sunday dinner and my only disappointment was that most everything was sold out by the time I went!

I’ve been trying various rib joints all across Columbus and surrounding areas. I put Tennessee Pit as one of the best rib choices out of all the places I’ve tried so far. I make it a point to stop in on Saturdays to get my ribs for the football games. Tennessee Pit is my first choice. The only reason I might go elsewhere sometimes is because they might not be open or not have ribs ready when I arrive. Other than availability for when I arrive, this is my go-to for ribs.

He had me Once he said I look like his aunt and I was there with my nephew! lol highly recommended from the service to the bbq sauce. I wasn’t even going to buy anything anddddd then I had samples. They have a tendency not to be open either during the times or days posted ♀️ This particularly day is Sunday 8/6/23. I knew this of them so I tried calling before driving from the North West side of town to the East side of town. However, no answer I said to myself I know the line is long often I’m just going to go on over. The picture is of the empty space the pit usually sits.
