So happy we stumbled upon this sweet little cafe. Our server, Sarah, was so friendly and helpful! We had the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries….those were so so good! And I had the potato soup which was wonderful on a somewhat chilly day. I highly recommend TPC and if you’re lucky Sarah will be your server.

Good food, some interesting menu options mixed with staple favorites anyone can find something they will like on the menu. Service wasn’t bad but also wasn’t notably good; small things like my water glass never being refilled, no offer for second round of drinks, and minimal assistance after the food was dropped. Would still return and would recommend.

Simple menu, but some unique items and enough variety especially with soups, salads, and sandwiches. Filling meal without feeling too heavy afterward. Didn’t like the pepper on the fries, could have done without jalapeño pieces in the beer cheese soup, but no other complaints. Liked that you could order the salad in small or large. Wish they had a nonalcoholic drink menu. Very casual atmosphere. No parking aside from a few spots on the street or public lot across the street. Great meal stop at an affordable price.

We came for lunch before a train ride and were very impressed. We were greeted and sat immediately and our waitress was top notch. We had the trout and it was out of this world. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean bathrooms. The prices are also super competitive and Veterans are recognized here and appreciated. I guess the only negative was the music, it didn’t reflect the vibe or customers. It was Valentine’s weekend and we had to endure headbanging rock but at least it wasn’t loud. Better music would be nice but an awesome place to eat and you won’t be disappointed.

Truly an exceptional meal: tomato bisque and mushroom soup were flavorful, clearly fresh ingredients. The chicken and Brie sandwich was a perfect combination. The trout, Brussels sprouts and fresh veggies (local) was exquisite. We shared two desserts, wide beer list and a delicious ginger beer. No wait, cram restroom, friendly server. shoutout to Alec and James – a gem!

The Food is amazing, except im not sure if there were extra charges or what’s going on? I ordered 2 burgers/fries and ended up paying $50, online menu says its $15.59 per burger/fries?? Just be aware when you go pay. I hope this gets settled so no one else has to go through this

I went in here to grab a quick lunch while I was in the road for work. At any other restaurant I have been to, the “bar” is the room where the bar is located. The sign at the hostess stand says the bar is open seating, so I sat at a table in the “bar”. Apparently only the actual bar is open seating and the bartender asked me if I was waiting to be seating and told me I needed to wait. And then she asked if I wanted to sit at the same table I was at or a different one….
The food was pretty good. Not super flavorful but it wasn’t horrible. I don’t know that i would willingly choose to go there to eat again but I had a burger so what can you expect? It was a good portion for the amount of money and I couldn’t eat it all. The guy who actually waited on me was polite and did a great job.
While i was eating, another couple walked in and the bartender greeted them. What a concept?! Don’t ignore customers and they won’t violate your rules that are the same as other restaurants. But i guess it’s a tiny town and maybe they don’t get out much… maybe she was having a bad day but a little friendly customer service can go a long way and create a better experience
