It was pretty easy to call ahead and make a to-go order. They didn’t have any option for sushi when I called. The inside was decent. We ordered the Hibachi Chicken without vegetables and it tasted good.

First time here, nice little place. Got hibachi chicken and hibachi steak with fried dumplings. We both like our meals, wives got more vegetables than me , but she doesn’t even eat vegetables. I wished it little bit more favor on the steak pieces. The rice was good with the vegetables. The fried dumplings were nice and hot. The restaurant was okay. There was water by the employee door entrance, and the bathroom was in the back of the restaurant.

Favorite go to Japanese takeout place. Been going here for years. Prices have gone up over the years so it’s kind of expensive now but it’s worth going every now and then just to try it. I usually get the hibachi chicken and shrimp and the wife usually gets the yummy chicken entree. Both are pretty good. You can expect to spend about $13 per person here (not including drink) and I’d recommend calling in your order so that your food is ready when you get there. Hope this helps!

I don’t normally write reviews but Tenko Japan has the best chicken hibachi in the Raleigh area. Whenever I order online it’s ready in minutes and it’s pretty reasonably priced. Could probably eat there every day lowkey.

Tenko is one of my favorite quick restaurants. Only reason it didnt get 5 stars on food is because the Raleigh location hooks it up with a lot of sauce on the Yummi chicken!

First of all, I love their yumyum/white sauce! If you don’t eat mushroom, make sure to tell them before they make your food. I’d say I wish they’d cut the veges smaller, but they taste good same way. I’ve only had the chicken, and it’s been good the last 3 times I went. My mom bought the shrimp and loved it. Then a friend bought the steak and ate it up. I wasn’t given a reason not to return the fourth time, so I’ll definitely be going back.

Don’t think they cook per order anymore, received a to go order of teriyaki chicken, less than 2 mins after ordering in store sauce had already congealed before I got home 5 mins away, was not the quality I have gotten here previously seemed to have been pre cooked or a leftover mistake order

Very inconsistent with food their food quality. They’ve been really good in the past. But tonight was the last bad experience for us. Tonight we ordered 3 hibachi steak and chicken dinners and calamari. The calamari was cooked beyond edible. All of the meat was way over cooked. We paid for extra sauces that were not in the bag. I hope they do well, but with this kind of inconsistency, I don’t see it going well for them if they don’t do something about it.
