Popped in here after a day at the beach. Basically looked for affordable highly rated take out places. This place sounded great, and it delivered. Service was great, menu options were excellent but not overwhelming. It’s clear they know their lane and stick to it. Food was cooked fresh for us and was divine. Loved the chicken – so tender! And the wasabi-mayo was amazing. Serving sizes were generous.

This gem is tucked into the food court of the Kona International Market Place. The owners lived in Japan for 10+ years together and moved to Kona, shortly thereafter opening this awesome chicken place. It’s all Gluten-Free!!! The chicken is fried to perfection, crispy and juicy all at once. I don’t know why it took me so long to go here because I can see it becoming a regular place for me. I ordered the Karaage mix plate with the potato mac salad. To my surprise and delight, the potato mac salad had little chunks of Pineapple which added a touch of acid and sweetness; so inventive! Simple menu, not too many options, and everything we enjoyed was delicious. 10/10. I will be going back!
