Service 5/5~ our server was nice and welcoming
Atmosphere 4/5~ the place was decorated well although I wish they took advantage of their opening their bar seating. It would help add to the ramen experience in our opinion.
I swear to God I could’ve eaten the stuff by the bucket. It is really comfortable seating in the parking is ample as a shared parking lot with a major grocery store so I have to give them credit. I love this place.
I found it to be perfect but if you come in, be sure to ask about the slushy lol
The Ramen was good. We had the dumplings, spring rolls, and a chicken rice bowl. All was good. The fried chicken was a little dry, but the spicy sauce was flavorful.
We will be back.
My ramen came out first.
Ten minutes later our actual STARTER of spring rolls came out second.
Then… ten minutes later, I loose patience and go up to the wait stand and ask if my husband’s food is coming out any time soon. Five minutes after that, hubby’s rice bowl makes an appearance.
The server gives all kinds of excuses about how the chicken on the rice bowl takes extra time to cook, at which point I say I don’t care how long the chicken takes, because the kitchen should time all entrees to come out at the same time: not one entree come out first, then the actual starter come out second, and then the second entree comes out 25 minutes after the first entree!
Someone needs to properly train these cooks in proper timing of service!
Starters (our spring rolls) FIRST.
Then main courses second, AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Because people want to share a meal at the same time, together. Not 25+ minutes apart!
And what made our experience even worse was how our waitress-in-name-only was arguing with me about how the chicken takes so much loner to cook on the grill than it takes to throw broth over precooked noodles in my chosen dish.
Ok, Skippy-John-Jones, then the kitchen should know to put the chicken on the grill FIRST, THEN fry our spring rolls, then after the chicken is almost done, assemble the ramen bowl while assembling the chicken & rice bowl, SO THEY COME OUT AT THE SAME DAMNED TIME! So we can eat lunch together, at the same time like a civilized first world couple.
I will never eat here again, and if you are wise, will never eat here in the first place.
It’s hard to find Beef Udon with 0 pork ingredients used. And even harder to find a good Beef Udon dish when a place does have it on their menu… This place has 1 of the best Beef Udon dishes around!
I can’t get enough! Also is good days later due to how they strategically package their togo bowls with the noodles/ingredients seperate from the broth. Fantastic!
This is my new goto spot for Beef Udon! They have a very extensive menu as well, so I’ll be trying other dishes in the near future.
halleluYAH for a closer spot to home now.
The staff was busy but tried to remain attentive with guests. I’d go back and try other items on their menu.
