Strangest tortilla soup I have ever had. Broccoli and cauliflower in a clear chicken broth. No tomatoes or peppers. It was good, but not what I was in the mood for. Fajitas were okay, but the peppers and onions were more steamed than grilled. Place was empty, but started picking up as we ate. Taco salad was decent enough. Like to try to help local businesses, but will be exploring more for Mexican.

Quaint place in toms river right by the home depot. Easily accessible off exit 82 in the small shopping plaza. We went with 6 people, and service was okay. Food was delicious, and the menu had something for everyone. Even the kids. The drinks are not fountain, they are from cans if it is soda and bottles if it is Mexican soda. Portions are nice, we even took left overs. Be prepared to spend an average of $15 per person without tip.

Didn’t plan on going here, we happened upon it cause we were starving. What a lovely tucked away surprise!! The staff was lovely and the food was just delicious!! The quesadilla delicisiosa was amazing and the tacos were great too!! We will def be going back!!!

Went to Tenampa for the first time today. The Chile relleno in red sauce and enchiladas(chicken & spinach)in salsa verde were outstanding. The chips and salsa were delivered immediately and our dinners came out hot and quickly. We’ll definitely be back!

Food is unreliable, service not so good. I think it’s going out of business, phone frequently off the hook when open and nobody in the restaurant. Maybe it will turn around.

Came in from the comic store cause we were hungry. Food was incredible, pork burrito with an avocado sauce was very good.

I hate leaving bad reviews and wanted to really like it, but food was just ok. We got a chimichanga and a taco salad. The chimichanga (as advertised) is drenched in souce. I am not sure if it was fried at all or if the sauce soften the tortilla to the point of it having the texture of a burrito. The taco salad was ok; it was a regular salad with tomatoes, cheese and meat in a taco bowl (wish it had some peppers and beans). The salsa was very strange, tasted like tomato sauce. My last point is about the price. $16 per dish is pricey for what they are offering. The man at the counter was very friendly.
