Very nice rice noodles, with very hot and tasty soup. The amount of fish is good and less so for the amount of pork. The fried chicken cartilage is awesome.

Hearty and warm bowl of noodles. The soup comes up while still boiling! The service was fairly quick as well.

Some are commenting about the lack of flavour and that’s true! But you don’t come to a rice noodle place looking for a flavour punch. You’re just looking for a light and wholesome bowl of noodles. And that it is!

Nothing to complain about. Had a relaxing and good meal.

I was hesitant to try because of the reviews, but it’s actually so good! I will be coming back. If you like soup, the original pork bone soup is amazing! The golden hot and sour soup makes the ingredients delicious but the soup itself is not really for eating directly. The restaurant interior is bright and clean, but nothing fancy. Be expected to seat yourself and order through the QR code on your table. Honestly really good for a casual weekday meal

Came in at 8pm but it was still crowded. Given that it’s a new restaurant in town, it was expected.

Our first time trying this type of mixing/cooking at the table. The ingredients were laid out nicely on a tray and came out first. Then, came the broth, still burning hot. After that, we started mixing everything in. There was no particular order, so you just mixed as you like but the last one should be noodles.

We tried Pork Bone soup and Tomato soup. Both were very good. It’s a warm meal for a cold day. Will come again!

We came on a Wednesday night and had no problem getting seated and got served fairly quickly.

I ordered the Original Bridge Crossing soup and enjoyed all of the toppings it came with. It was a warm, creamy chicken soup broth and it joined the ‘Clean Plate Club’.

We also ordered the scallion pancake appetizer, which we also loved.

Overall, would come back again and it’s a good casual spot. We spent around $48 before tip for 2 soups and an appetizer, which we thought is very reasonably priced for a meal in downtown San Mateo!

Soup is very tasty. But items to add to the soup was very little. And you should add meat first, noodle the last.

First time visit. It was raining and we were looking for a place to have soup for dinner. It was not busy when we arrived at around 5:30 but it was filled up fast.
You order using the QR code on the table. You can also get the paper menu just for checking.
There are a couple of options of noodle soup on the menu and appetizer. We ordered original crossing bridge and spicy fish noodle soup. Both came up around less than a minute after we ordered. The soup is boiling hot.
The server will let you know how to mix the dishes. First is always the protien/meat and then the rest. Noodle will be last. The soup is so yummy. I like the original pork bone soup and also the spicy one. The spicy one is numbing but on lighther side which is very nice. The beef and meat are yummy. The soup was hot for a long time. It has chili crisp oil provided.
One thing that is not convenient is that there is no strainer spoon provider to get the small item like corn from the soup. Overall we are satisfied with our dinner.

I rarely give a restaurant a bad review. I came here with high expectations. I ordered a spicy beef tripe rice noodle soup, and when ordering, I was assured there would be no problems. However, what was served was a clear broth beef noodle soup. And they told me you can put some spicy sauce by yourself. Yes, I did. After realizing there was no tripe at all, I asked them to add it again, but the taste was still mediocre. Very disappointed.

Had a very different experience to the other older reviews – given I came in at 2pm on a Sunday – the service was great. Our food came in within 10 minutes and soup was piping hot. The waiter asked to refill our water many times and was receptive to everything else.

The taste of the Hot and Sour Pickled Pepper soup was amazing, just like a tomato tom yum soup with a heavier dose of white pepper. The tomato soup was also really tomato-ey, and I know i’d definitely come back for the other flavors!

Soup was a bit bland for the house special. I ordered chicken on the side for my daughter but it tasted weird. Not fresh.

The spicy soup was decent.
