I was looking for soup for a light dinner and found this gem. The soup makes me feels like home…authentic Chinese soups. The soup is so savory with lots of ingredients. Dip the noodles for last than 10 seconds, then ready to slurp down. I wish they serve herbal soup too.

honestly, the food here was very weird. and also quite overpriced for Chinese food, $15 and over. it is frequented by lots of legitimate mainland international students, so it’s definitely authentic Chinese food, but it just lacks flavor and wish it had some smaller options.

Very hearty meal! I got multiple meals out of the leftovers. Portion size is large, soup was piping hot and the ingredients inside were cooked well. Would come here again for a nice hot soup.

Absolutely amazing place. It is a little on the expensive side, but if you restrict yourself to one dish per visit, it’s actually pretty affordable.
Everything on their menu that I’ve tried has been delicious. They even have a high quality take out bag as well as a way to keep your noodles from getting soggy. You get a free snack with your order too!!
Service is also top notch, just stay seated and they will get your food to you. They have a really efficient set up and your food is ready in less than 5 minutes (Mine actually came halfway through writing this review)
It might come a little hot because its made to order, so just ask for a small bowl, transfer some brother and enjoy your meal straight away!
Near closing, you can even catch some of the employees eating their delicious noodles, just in case you needed more convincing!
TD;DR Delicious, authentic chinese food with plenty of ingredients, 10/10 service and next to 24/7 Grainger library. My new favourite spot

Nice place for Chinese noodles near the campus. Very Cozy atmosphere.
The food is the best choice for Asian People with affordable price.
Highly recommend ❤️
If the restaurant decorated more, it will be perfect

Disgusting disgusting disgusting! There’s no actual fish maw in the “fish maw chicken rice noodle.” The rice noodle uses 100% pre-made soup base, the chicken is also pre-made! The chicken soup is just artificial chicken flavor.

Food was good. Guy up front was chill as hell. Pleasant place.

With the various Asian and Chinese options on and around green street, this place is a hard pass! Curiosity got the best of me and we decided to give it a try. The rice noodles were over cooked with no texture. But the worst offense is the soup. It literally tastes like they took instant noodle soup packets and mixed it with water, dump in some random veggies and selling it for 15$. With other great noodle options like mid summer lounge, oozu, and pho station, I hope this place doesn’t last too long in the competitive arena of Asian food on uiuc campus
