Typical bar and grill. Sandwiches are decent, their pizza is very good (a thin crust which is what we prefer) & the fish fry is good but priced higher than other bar & grill nearby (for the “north woods”).
The salad bar is great with the fish dinner! Not too big but it’s all fresh.
The staff is always friendly & they have some fun cocktail concoctions. Summer they’ll have live music outside. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. It is on the snowmobile trails so that’s nice to have as an option to stop at to warm up.
Not far from the bearskin trail also. ATV/UTV friendly.

Came here on a Friday in October (non-peak) at 6:15. Got a table quickly but then it took >20 minutes to have our waitress come over. Then after ordering it took an hour and a half to get food!!! Nobody came to get drink orders during the wait. Nobody cleared glasses or plates.
Prices were high too. Just two years ago a menu posted to Google Maps showed the French Dip costing $9. Now it’s $18!!! And on Friday’s they don’t serve anything but fish and pizza which upset my daughter who doesn’t eat fish.
I get it’s a small business, perpetually short staffed blah blah. But they should have blocked off tables if they couldn’t serve all seated customers in a timely manner. We happily would have gone somewhere else if we had been told about the wait in advance. It sucked being trapped waiting FOREVER for food after a very long week. Oh and the fries were cold.

Amazing new staff and awesome menu items. Everything was absolutely delicious and came out so quick! We had the chef’s special which was a scrump-diddly- umptipus patty melt with grilled onions and thousand Island dressing .NOTE: majority of patrons seem to lack the capacity to park in any designated spot. Proceed with caution when attempting to park. Wish I was parking enforcement I would have made the city bookoo bucks

Nice bar in Northern Wisconsin with some tasty food and a pretty good tap beer selection. We enjoyed the pan fried Walleye for their Friday Fish Fry. Came with potato pancake or baked potato. Very good! Great service too.

Great country bar with great food. I had the Italian beef loaded with green peppers onions and cheese with fries and dipping sauce. They have a Bloody Mary bar on Sundays. It’s rustic feeling lots of pine and off the snowmobile trail. Wonderful place to stop for an adult coffee to warm up after riding. ATV/Utv friendly. Took us to receive our pizza over an hour. When we asked what happened the bar/waitress said they had altercation with our pizza so it should be up shortly. I eat better but if I wasn’t so hungry I would have walked out.
