Neat place with lots of unique items scattered around the premises. The bartender was friendly and quick to get us drinks. We both had captains and diet coke and were priced similarly to other places in the area. They have a total of 12 machines located in 2 different areas on the premises. 6 are within the bar area, and the other 6 are located in a separate room with a smaller “bar” where only a few beers, small bottles of wine, water, and soda are offered. The. Games however play tight… Very tight… we both dumped a fair share of money into them and they keep you thinking they’re about to pay based on high mountains of coins and similar games where they’re supposed to eventually “pop” and play. We eventually just left knowing there was no way it could play out enough to make it worth while. Fact is, there’s better places in Oregon where we’ve experienced way better probability of getting paid over the same amount of time and money.

This place has great food but not very quiet.
If there’s a tall older guy sitting at the back table, just walk out. He distracts the staff and complains about the things the employees have done wrong all week. He really shouldn’t have conversations about employees in the dining area.
I’ve gone there many times over the past 5 years. I won’t stay if he’s there. Food takes too long to get made and his conversations are very distracting.
If you think you’re getting some work done on the computer you need to ask that they turn the radio down.
Then the fruit flys…. need I say more.
It really is a cool place you just need to pick your times when no one is chewing out the staff. and bring a fly swatter.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy great convo be it your spouse or friends. Whether you want great coffee, beer, wine or a cocktail, this is the place with the best ambiance outside of Chicago. It is without a doubt one of the best Internet Cafes outside of the Chicago area boasting the place to write books and is the home of at least Two published Authors that I know of. Out on a date? A great place any time of day! The most upscale video gambling I’ve ever seen. Decent coffee, really good biscuits and gravy, a few drink selections and a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

I love this little place. The outside is decieving but inside in the mornings you can find Robin who will greet you with a smile and make you a wonderful cup of coffee. They are open late and are usual quiet which is perfect for working or studying. Great coffee shop in Oregon.

Ive been a regular at ten pennies for a little while now, its has its upsides and its downsides. Upsides being that the environment is nice, its aesthetically soothing. The down side, is that one of there employees doesn’t seem to know the definition of “paying customer”. Twice ive been asked to leave by the same person after having spent money on coffee and food. I hardly talk to anyone, i just sit in the corner with my head phones in drinking my coffee. I’ve been told by some of the workers here that the issue is that i where dark clothing and have long hair. So, unless your ” different” ten pennies is a great place, if you become a regular, you’ll have to learn to look the other way at one of the employees ignorance and bigotry. It is honestly against the business best interests to keep this employee employed, but for some strange reason shes still around. I’ve seen people quit working here because of how ridiculous she can be, and ive seen good people get fired for standing up to her. From my understanding regulars avoid coming in on her shift. Out of respect,(which i guess should be a testament to this reviews validity) i wont say her name. You’ll figure it out on your own. So, if you like sitting in a pretty place, and its worth paying for over priced coffee and dealing with ignorance and bigotry, this is the place for you.

We go here often. Unfortunately, there is one attendant who isn’t very friendly on the Ten Pennies Too Side. Otherwise, the staff is friendly. We have fun on the slots. They could offer a better select of mixed drinks.
