Let me start by saying that the mixes used to make the waffles and the pancakes are probably the most perfect that my friends and I have ever tasted. I go for the waffles every visit, and they are light and crispy and oh so delicious. My friend love the chocolate chip pancakes and says that they are the best in all of Chicago.

I loved this place place. So I called and reserved a table for 8 to celebrate my birthday. When we got there, our table was not ready, they gave us a small table. Our server was HORRIBLE. She ignored us the whole night. Brought food and appetizers really late.never checked on us. Made all of us crazy and 🙁 and she charged us $18 To serve our own cake. She did not cut it. She was rude and angry for some reason. I have attached the receipt to show that she charged us to sing happy birthday with angry sound ( Open food $18)

Stopped for a late dinner after being at Evanston Hospital all day. I had fried chicken tacos and my daughter had grilled salmon salad. Good beers on tap too. Both were very good. Friendly and fast service was appreciated!
