Reviews
With a gorgeous interior, awkward entrance of a tight staircase leading to the main area, the ambiance was hot, modern, and elegant.
Servers were attentive but could be more) We got the yellowtail w jalepeno, Rainbow roll, and a lychee martini. All tasted great and unique!
Havent visited another sushi spot in town but this one def was a good spot to try!
Only real critique is that the service is spotty. And from the sushi bar you can see into the kitchen. Clearly the staff was very hungry because they were all in there eating while cooking or between services. The worst part were the continuous presence of small flying bugs. They were everywhere, and it requires constant swatting to keep them off food and out of your drinks.
Our recent dinner at Ten was about as perfect as could be. Jack (ask for him) gave us a brief overview of Ten’s history as well as explained the menu with a sense of pride that you don’t often see.
The sushi was on a different level than I’ve ever had. It was exquisite in every sense of the word. My wife and I were blown away with each bite. A tip for couples – the chirashi was a great dish to share with two pieces of fish each.
Without question we’ll be back. Ten certainly left its mark on us.
The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable with illuminating decor.
The sushi was absolutely amazing with such high quality and great flavor.
I’d recommend the Sparkling Ten, assorted sushi, and anything the waiter recommends.
Service: I went there with my boyfriend and we made a reservation for 8:40 pm slot using their website the day before. We arrived there at exact time, but they did not have any seats for us as other guests were staying longer. They had empty couch seats but were for 3+ party’s reservations. We had to wait there +20 minutes on the seats. They told us the kitchen and bar closes at 9:15pm we had less than 5 mintues when we actually got seated. People who came in later than us, which was also party of 2 got seated before us, which almost felt like discrimination. Staffs are too busy. They can’t “care” for the customers.
Food: The quality of sashimi was okay, but the rice for the sushi was nothing like Japanese rice. Udon came spilled out of the bowl on the plate underneath and it was overcooked. With the price range of most of the main dishes around $30+, I will rather go somewhere else.
Atmosphere: Pretty loud and busy. Not suitable for people wanting more of a peaceful date with their loved ones. More fit for enjoying with friends and families.
Overall: Since it is $50 – $100 resturant, I was hoping more better quality and treatment. My mistake for coming here on an important day. Didn’t felt like any of it was worth it (effort to call for reservation, waiting time, food, service, etc.) I will recommend just come here for small bites and drinks if you like busy vibe. Will never return.
