We have been going to this place for years now! It is the perfect spot for lunch, with so many great home cooked comfort food. Service is always quick and polite. The food is always fresh. They have the BEST chicken and noodles around these parts. The addition of the salad bar makes this place even better! They also have great baked goodies for a sweet treat! And prices are reasonable for the portion size!

Went for the first time with a friend. They had some good selection. All the meals seamed to be $10 with came with a main dish and 2 sides. Very affordable and comparable to other places in New Castle. I was expecting this to be sort of like a fast food place where you seat yourself and do all the rest, but they actually wait on you here! I ended up getting the breaded porkchop. I was expecting like a tenderloin basically but it ended up having a bone and every thing was very good. The mashed potatoes were a little under seasoned, but nothing a little salt couldn’t fix! And the green beans were great! The menu was very comprehensive and the food came out super fast! I do wish the waitresses had check on us a little more, but she was doing all of it herself and definitely made sure we at least had what we needed. I am honestly wondering why I have not herd about this place sooner!! I hope to be back soon!

This has been a favorite for many years. I used to take my Granny here at least once a week. She loved the home cooked food and the sweet ladies who work here. When she passed away, it was hard for me to go without her, so I took little break.
A few weeks ago, my husband encouraged me to go back because I’m always talking about how good it was when I see Inga’s posts on Facebook. We went together for the first time and he wanted to know why I’d been holding out on him! Ha ha. Since his first meal there three weeks ago, he has taken me back 4 times, brought his parents for lunch, taken to-go meals to my dad, bought to-go meals to reheat for dinner, brought home desserts from the sweet shelf, and brought me fruit and sandwiches from the cooler express. He is a new convert. Ha ha.
Great food, great service, and fair prices. That’s a winning combination for sure!

I just found out about this place and it’s an excellent place to get some delicious food. Maybe because I’m a tree guy, I got meatloaf mashed potatoes and corn for a great price, plus they also had a yummy piece of cake. We will be back for sure.
