On an errand in Seabrook and looking for a place for a late lunch. I’d never had African food before but the reviews were good so figured worth a try. I’m glad we did; it was outstanding. Ordered the Kelewele (spicy plantains) for appetizer and beef and chicken for entrees. Absolute best plantains I’ve had; cooked and seasoned to perfection with peanuts as accompaniment. Wonderful combination. Generous servings for both the beef and chicken entrees; served with delicious sauce and rice and plantains. Overall terrific experience; felt like a guest in owner’s home. Worth the trip even if coming from DC. Lucky find.

The worse, I’m here on a Friday. Ordered stew with chicken. It was no stew sauce it was dry. They make u pay right away but then say they run out. We waited a hour for a bottle of wine one for $73 a hour later the waitress says they out. Told us we could only get to shots of casamigos to replace the bottle we spent $73 food was horrible!

Was real calmed with a very friendly welcome. The customer service is excellent. There is one special drink. It’s so tasty I call the tempoo special drink I’ll recommend anyone with kids anyone with a large family to go and have a great time.
