Absolutely outstanding experience! The young lady at the front counter was genuinely amazing — welcoming, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived. The food was on another level: incredible flavours and, without doubt, the highest-quality ingredients we’ve had at any Indian restaurant anywhere in Australia. Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of authentic flavour. Add to that the great, funky venue in Mermaid, and it makes for a truly memorable dining experience. Perfect Indian food from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back again very soon!

I have been to several GC Indian restaurants but this is my favourite. I love their interesting street food dishes, particularly the Samosa Chaat. We also tried the Tikka chicken…so tender and full of flavour. The Palak Paneer is beautiful with large chunks of creamy paneer. I will definitely have the Mango Lassi every visit too. It’s a small place, so get there early!

everything was divine, honestly the best mango chicken I’ve ever had and the lamb melted in our mouths.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Vegan by Temple of Spices.
I placed an order and was informed it would be ready within a reasonable timeframe. However, the preparation took far longer than expected, with no clear communication or updates from the restaurant. The delay was excessive and completely unacceptable.
Unfortunately, the lack of transparency led to confusion for both me and the delivery driver. He arrived expecting the order to be ready, but it was not. It was clear that the issue was not with the driver, but with the restaurant’s poor organization and inaccurate information. It is unfair for delivery workers to be placed in this situation due to the restaurant’s mistakes.
This experience reflects very poor customer service and a lack of respect toward both customers and delivery professionals. I expected better communication, honesty, and responsibility.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment.If you’d like, I can also create a shorter version suitable for Google Reviews or Uber Eats.
