Stopped by this place on our way through Iowa during RAGBRAI…I was amazed at how well the service was during the feeding frenzy. I’m sure wait times varied but at the time (3 of us) they said we had a 30 min wait. I think we only waited 15 minutes despite being full up and having a horde of people behind us. We ordered an app and received it right away. Food not long after. Everyone had their A-game going. Kitchen was on top of things, wait staff didn’t panic, and the food was excellent. You could tell this was a seasoned veteran team. Even the owner was in on the action. Great spot.

What a disappointment. Arrived on Saturday the 8, around 430-5. Two other tables were occupied. Upon arrival it was seat yourself. 4 servers standing at the bar along with the bartender. No greeting from any, they were too busy socializing. Received menus and asked about drinks, which was a problem because out of the three drinks I ordered they had none of them. No angry orchard on tap, didn’t have the liquor to make an advertised toddy and didn’t carry another bottled drink anymore. In my opinion, their drink menu should be updated.
On to the food, I have eaten here before and have bragged the place up. Oh how the mighty have fallen! We ordered onion rings for starters. 15-20 minutes later they came out. Over done, not hot, and tasted of old oil. Burgers followed about 10 minutes later.
The last time we ate here the burgers were hot, tasty and melt in your mouth delicious. I ordered the bleu cheese and bacon burger, which states on the menu a burger with bleu cheese in the middle. I will say this it was in the middle. On the top, in four small pieces, with bacon so thin it was next to nonexistent. My burger was cold and so were the fries. Server never came back to ask how the food was even though she saw me place the burger at the edge of the table and looked at it the 3 times she walked by. Unacceptable. When my daughter was done eating the server finally came over and asked how the food was and seemed surprised when I told her I would not be paying for the burger.
I will not return nor would I recommend this establishment to anyone based on my experience.

Our waitress did not even mention any specials, which I noticed midway through the meal. The board was not in easy view, especially if you didn’t even know it existed.
I always enjoy a philly steak sandwich, but the one I had today was the worst one I have ever had. The meat had a funny taste and it was extremely salty. When I asked about the charge for substituting for French fries, she said $3, which was higher than what I was going to substitute it with. I was disappointed from that previous time I had been there. I will not recommend to others.

We have always had good food and service until last night. We had the special, flat iron and bacon wrapped shrimp, food overcooked and dry. The worst part we waited along with many others for 30 min some more time. There were 14 empty seats. we were told they don’t take reservations. SO MY QUESTION IS WHY DID PEOPLE HAVE TO STAND AROUND AND WAIT TO BE SEATED AND THESE SEATS REMAINED EMPTY? They were still empty when we left!

This place was amazing! We met my sister here as a half way point for both of us and we were not disappointed, staff was friendly, place was clean, food was amazing and not bad priced and there was plenty of food on the plate.

Great eating option in Cresco. Food selection is fantastic and there is a full bar selection and several craft beer options. Be sure to check out the specials on the board right when you walk in. Definitely worth the drive for a visit.

A friend and myself ate here tonight. Excellent service. Servings were huge. Friend had french dip. I had portabella burger. Ordered appetizer. Pot of Gold. Gigantic. Cheese curds , onion rings , chips. In a big tortilla shell. 2 dips. Tasted like homemade salsa and ranch dip. Which i mixed together. Would definitely go back

My friends and I visited this bar & grill during RAGBRAI 45. They were extremely busy but handled the crowd with great food & excellent service… so good that on our return trip back home, we stopped again for lunch. Teluwut Grill earned my 5 star rating.

Had a shrimp scampi fettuccine and it was too salty to eat so just ate my salad. When the bill came they hadn’t removed the charge. Then they were only going to remove half the charge with the explanation that it cost them to cook it. Finally they did charge me just the salad.
