It’s a nice restaurant in Port Washington. You can find a variety of good quality food here. It has reasonable prices also. The problem here is the service! It stunned me when I arrived to the restaurant, it was empty in main room. When I asked to sit at specific table, the server told me sit right there like command, where I had 0 interest to be, on the way to the door where everyone walk in and out, and I knew I will be there for some time with my friend. We visited this restaurant before and were treated way better. Today the server after I explained her my choice of table still would tell me where should I sit. Disrespectful manners that how I felt regarding this server. After I refuse to sit at that table, she gave me another option, I didn’t want argue and pick her options for the table. But what stunned me the most when she brought the bill in the end, she made mistake, when I order my drink it was a happy hour, and she put full price in receipt $8.50. I went and told her about her mistake, she didn’t really apologize for mistake, she brought another bill with price 5$….I thought to myself interesting. Happy hour would count as half a price. That what we pay before. The server’s manners were unspeakable to me plus her math calculations. I didn’t argue, left her a 20% tip, but me and my friend definitely won’t be back there, not because of the food, but the manners of the server. I hope they reconsider their service and realize that to many great restaurants with nice and caring services around, and nobody want be treated with mistakes and disrespect in the end of the day. Think what you as a customer could walk into it when you visit this restaurant. Just warning!!!!

Arrived at 9am for breakfast on a weekday, we seemed to be the first customers of the day. Our waitress was fantastic. We had 4 adults and one older child. She helped explain the menu, gave us suggestions and was very attentive. The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was really fun. Beautiful murals on the walls and fun Christmas music made for a very fun dining experience for the whole family.

The food was delicious, with a phenomenal burrito that truly impressed. However, I felt the menu could offer more variety to enhance the experience. We enjoyed a shared combination platter, the #1 Guanajuato, the steak chimichanga was amazing and tender, the enchilada and taco were good. They have Mexican Coke! Chips and salsa were wonderful.

For dinner we went to Tello’s Grille and Catering in Port Washington, Wisconsin. It is locally owned and operated by Angel Tellos where they serve real authentic Mexican food
For our entrees I ordered the birria tacos which came with beans and rice. These were absolutely amazing and truthfully some of the best birria tacos I’ve had in a long time. They had just the right amount of flavor and were so delicious Melissa ordered the chicken nachos which she said were super good. The chicken had a real good kick to it
Angel the owner insisted on making us a non-alcoholic strawberry pina colada which how can you say no to that? This was absolutely amazing I almost could have went for another one. Plus word on the street is Angel makes the best margaritas in all of Wisconsin
Then for dessert we got the “tres leche cake” and it was so divine. It literally melted in your mouth. It was so tasteful and worth every bite ♥️
Everyone here was very friendly and nice. We got to have some fun conversations with one of their waitresses Brooke who said she has been working for Tello’s for 12 years and said that he is an amazing person to work for and deserves all the recognition in the world.
We couldn’t agree more and that’s why we are here to tell you to go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing, the staff is excellent and the owner is very personable. Highly recommend if you like real authentic Mexican food like us. We can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast

Fantastic food. Service was absolutely terrible. Got Sat immediately, then waited at least 20 min to be greeted by the server. Get our order in finally (this is now close to 40 min of being in the restaurant), food comes out quickly, food is FANTASTIC. Server comes back, asks if we needed boxes and if we needed the check. We say yes to the check. 20 min later, still no check, had to go back to the manager (I’m assuming he was the manager up by the front door) to go find our server to FINALLY get the check. Spent nearly 2hr15min in the restaurant, at least 45 min was spent waiting to be greeted and waiting on the check. Absolutely RIDICULOUS service, but FANTASTIC food. Good luck

An absolutely amazing experience. The food is among the best Mexican cuisine you’ll find in the Port Washington area. The bar service and servers are consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. Angel, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. Hands down, this is the place to go.
