The second you walk into this restaurant you forget about reality. The food the experience the service all wrapped up into one is enough to make you feel like you are somewhere special. Some of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever Had the experience and pleasure to eat.

Wonderful experience. The food is incredible and the creativity around sushi is amazing. On this visit, we had a Shashimi Roll from the specials board (closest in pic), a Vegas roll, and a Spanish roll (furthest away). Service is always very professional, prompt, and attentive. This is a great one for a lunch hour, or if you happen to have a day off, enjoy the margaritas, beers, and/or sake they have available.

My wife and I came here for her love of Sushi and this place having such high reviews. The place was busy but they still managed to sit us fast and we were in and out in under an hour. Very satisfied will come back again. Also we started eating before I remembered to take pictures sorry lol.

The food and the service at Tekkamaki Sushi are excellent! I came for dinner while in town for work – the Google reviews led me to the right place.
They were busy, but I was seated right away. I ordered the Salmon Tataki Roll and it did not disappoint! I will say, I’m a big salmon fan and I can’t always find a salmon roll that I love. It’s either smoked or baked and those just don’t do it for me. If you’re a salmon lover like me, this is a great spot!
I also ordered a miso soup, which was tasty and the edamame was cooked perfectly. The staff was top notch as well. My only complaint is that I have to go back home and can’t visit again next week.

I brought my parents here for dinner while they were visiting from San Diego. They know good seafood and sushi so I know how picky they are. My mom can’t stop raving about this place and the quality of their fish. We ordered the Cancun roll and ceviche roll and both were so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend.

UPDATED 28JUL: We arrived several minutes prior to the restaurant closing at 8:30 p.m. NOTE: We did not know this since we’re from the Portland region.
The Mexican waitress/hostess sat us and said, “We’re going to close in 8min, let me know if you want to order food to go.” She brings us back menus and said “7min” and again suggested “to go” Let me state, this has nothing to do with her ethnicity it’s just a description as I do not know her name. I asked her if it was too late to order the baked mussels. Immediately without even asking “Yes, that takes more time and we close in 7min” DEVESTATED because i was craving this since my last visit …
Still staying positive, I look at menu. Salmon Tartar that’s quick and perfect!!! Another female “Hope” walks to our table to take our order. We were so fortunate to have her as our waitress. A new employee HIGHLY RECOMMEND asking for her to serve you! Friendly and professional, two traits employees should maintain at ALL TIMES!!!
Back to my short and happily ever ending story. My sweetie ordered ribs. The most tender and succulent absolutely amazing dish ever like ever!!!
Well until ..
I expressed my disappointment about the mussels in which I then heard from the kitchen “we’ll cook what they want to order” my heart was filled with so much joy! I couldn’t get the words out quick enough. Hurry before they change their mind … Mussels and salmon tartar please!!! My sweetie started laughing.

To the owner/manager Hope was fantastic and made both of us feel like our visit was appreciated; not once did she mention closing hours or make us uncomfortable for arriving so late. Please praise her for a job well done.
I’m not sure what was going on with the employee at that moment of our arrival but that was unacceptable. I would refuse to sit in her section (if she was a waitress) and placed on a waiting list to receive that treatment again.
This IS our monthly restaurant to go to. The food, I cannot say this enough, is absolutely incredible. We look forward to our return to enjoy a lovely dinner with your “welcoming staff” soon.

The food is amazing with great service! The restaurant is a bit outdated. Our table was wobbly, but we didn’t care; focus was on the AMAZING food! Highly recommend the mussels and kimchi roll. I wish they were located in the Portland area. LOVE THE FOOD SOOO MUCH! Date night … if you’re not worried about the ambiance, this is a PERFECT place to enjoy each other’s company. The way to a woman’s heart is her stomach! I’ll return every time I pass through Medford. YUMMY! Forgot to take photo of the kimchi roll because I couldn’t wait to eat it. Short ribs were also fantastic.
