We had Tekka’s hibachi after Myako’s has not reopened. My roommate and I have gone to Myako’s for our birthday celebrations for 21 years. Tekka was a WONDERFUL surprise. The server and hibachi cook were great. The beef, fried rice and miso soup were excellent. Looking forward to going to Tekka again soon!

First time going to Tekka for my birthday, and it did not disappoint.
The place was beautiful. Chill vibe, good music, and space to breathe.
The staff was so sweet and welcoming. They even sang happy birthday to me, which I thought was really thoughtful.
The food was amazing—especially the crab rangoon, 10/10. I got the hibachi and dumplings and would definitely recommend both.
If you’ve never been and you’re in Lexington, it’s worth checking out.

I had sushi and it was great. Fresh flavors, tight rolls, good rice. The appearance was good as well. The mango mojito or Fuji apple tini were very good with the meal. Service kept up with our drinks and food was served promptly. The atmosphere was simple for just a booth for sushi. The hibachi was much more lively and appeared worth a try seeing things from a distance.

The fried rice is absolutely amazing! The steak is always cooked too perfection. And normally I’m not a big fan of lobster but the way that the chefs make it is absolutely amazing. They also have a good variety of alcoholic beverages. The shifts are always super entertaining and friendly. I would recommend this place highly. Low wait time if any at all

We stop in here every once in a while when shopping for lunch and it’s consistently a lovely experience. Great food, friendly staff, easy and quick. Chef treated us to a cucumber salad, fresh made wasabi, and chilled orange art for dessert, all off the menu and given without asking.

This place is awesome, definitely a must go. I took my girls there, they love seeing the chef cook and the performance. Our waiter was awesome very attentive, my bill came out to just $61, but I gave $30 tip. Definitely worth it. If I got service like that in other places I would tip the same

This is a great Japanese restaurant. The food was great. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The service was good. They are understaffed, so service can be a little slow. They have sushi and a sushi bar. They also have a bar for mixed drinks. It was a Saturday night at prime time, and there was no waiting.

Food here was fantastic! Everything came out fresh and quick with beautiful presentation. Our server was so sweet, very efficient, and explained the dishes to ensure we got what we wanted. Even the sushi chef came to our table to confirm how we wanted the dish prepared.

Tekka is the only Japanese restaurant that we go to in Lexington. The food is always excellent and flavorful. Even without the entrée I could eat the soup and salad all day. So delicious. We have never had a bad food experience here. The service is usually on point as well. Some of the chefs are more animated than others but still always a great experience. I will say that I have had their sushi and I prefer Aqua but that’s just personal preference.
