Stopped by with my friends for dinner before attending a concert at a nearby location. The food was very delicious, nicely prepared and served. They have a few vegan options or can make some dishes vegan. Their menu is always changing and they have daily specials. They serve delicious specially prepared tea. Street parking available, some metered spots, but free after 6pm.

My wife and I have been coming here for about a year now. Service is always absolutely top-notch. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and inviting.
The food… incredible. The quality of ingredients they use here is on par with the some of the so called “highest rated” sushi we’ve had in SF. It’s not the absolute cheapest sushi you can find here, but for the quality of what you get to the price-point. Tekka House can’t be beat. Just take a look at these two separate 12pc Sashimi plates I got over the past few months. Very high quality, and amazingly excellent selection such as Chu-toro and O-toro (absolutely melt in your mouth delicious).
Most the time when we try a new sushi restaurant now, my wife and I just end up craving Tekka House.

This restaurant is small and popular, and had a really great selection of well-marked vegan and vegetarian rolls. The Miso soup can be vegetarian for an extra $1. Has Japanese beers on tap (Sapporo and Asahi). Service is a little slow, but unobtrusive and there were no issues with our order. It’s a little pricey, but worth it for a nice night out.

Good, albeit unspectacular local spot for sushi. Service is friendly and food comes out real quick. Been disappointed in the miso soup being lukewarm every time I’ve ordered it. Not sure why I keep ordering it at this point. The small omakase combo platter for $25 is a fairly good deal considering we are in SF, but it’s on the smaller side to be a full meal.

Had an amazing dinner at this sushi spot! Every dish we tried was delicious, and the presentation was on point. We loved the cozy vibe of the place—felt really intimate and relaxed. The decor was beautiful, adding to the overall great experience. The service was fast, friendly, and made us feel super welcome. Can’t wait to come back for another fantastic meal! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the mood for top-notch sushi!

It was just unnecessarily expensive… $17 for a regular salmon and avocado roll I can get it at whole food for like $11. And it’s not like it’s any special…. I know restaurants are so hard to operate with low margins… but still…

I’ve been coming here for over five years and Tekka continues to provide friendly, prompt service and absolutely delicious food. For a small sushi spot in a sleepy village, this place holds its weight on all fronts you could expect from a Japanese restaurant, from sushi to ramen and all things in between. Food comes out fast, everything I’ve tried has exceed expectations, and the atmosphere is clean and modern.
