Seriously high quality meat at this place. I ordered the brisket sandwich and each piece of brisket was delicious moist fatty goodness! Also highly recommend a side of Mac and cheese and the peace cobbler.

So, on our way to the drag racing track today, we decided to try this place as our family of four all love BBQ.
I must say that this place was very good and a must try if you are in the area.
They have wonderful food, great people, and the atmosphere as well as prices.
I thought it was a cool thought that they offer a free beer while you wait for your food too.
I personally didn’t partake since I will be drag racing tonight.
But my wife had one, lol.
I wanted to take a moment while we were at the track waiting for some friends and write a review for this wonderful place.

The brisket was moist, flavorful and very tender without being too fatty. The bbq sauce was very well balanced, just the right mix of spicy, a bit of vinegar and a tiny bit of sweetness. The pinto beans were outstanding. The sausage was good but not special.

Ordered lean brisket. As you can see in the Pic, it was not lean. Not even close. Brisket had a good flavor but not very smoky. Dino rib was mostly bone and fat. Very little meat for the high cost. Jalapeno sausage was weird. It had these blobs in it. Not sure what they were. Don’t think they were fat. Didn’t taste like cheese. Filler, I guess. If you want BBQ sauce, you have to buy a bottle from them. Potato salad was bland. I won’t be going back.

Great brisket, pork ribs, and sides. Nice to see Georgetown getting some good options. Rib style is more fall off the bone than typical for Texas bbq but with the sauce it the spot (note, I’ve been trapped in California for a few years and have not had any decent bbq in awhile and am grateful).

Got the 2 meat plate with brisket and jalapeno and cheese sausage, Mac n cheese, charro beans. My goodness it was all delicious. Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Brisket was nice and juicy, bursting with flavor. The jalapenos cheese sausage was fantastic. Nice sticky Mac and cheese and the best charro beans I’ve ever had. Not out of the can at all. Definitely recommend this place!

Best BBQ I’ve had in AGES. I grew up here and now live in the Midwest. I was visiting my parents and wanted some legit BBQ, the kind I grew up with – not hipsterized. I cannot recommend Tejano Cookers enough. The sliced brisket was unbelievably good. Awesome, friendly service. No pretense. I will come back every time I’m down here. It’s a treat to look forward to. If you’re a BBQ lover who lives nearby, support this place every time you have a chance! It’s a gem!!!!
