This locally owned deli is very high profile and serves quality food.
These are a couple of the popular menu items I explored:
The Godfather:
This sandwich was packed with thinly sliced roast beef and smothered in hot gravy and melted mozzarella cheese. It may appear small in size, but it was very filling.
The appearance of the left sandwich looks off due to the gravy oozing out of the hero. Do not let that deceive you because this sandwich is phenomenal!
French Fries:
These fries practically eat like a meal. They are piled high and deep inside a Chinese container box. The serving quantity was more than plentiful.
The crinkle cuts are generously sprinkled with Ted’s North secret signature seasoning. They are so tasty you won’t need any dipping sauces to supplement the frites. I enjoy the seasoning so much that I wish I could purchase it separately, but it’s not for sale.
Due to its popularity, there is usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly.
There is no indoor or outdoor seating, but there are benches and tables nearby at Van Saun Park.
If you decide to dine here, Ted’s North is open Monday through Saturday, so please plan accordingly.

Great old-school deli. What ever happened to the portions you ask? Look no further. Popular with workmen so the portions are generous. Fast friendly service and you can get you fav sandwich in a gluten-free wrap. The coffee is good too.

Take out only! The sandwiches were delicious and the fries yummy! Very fairly priced, the sandwich was generous! The man ringing in the orders, he may have been the owner, was super friendly and kept everything running smoothly. Our first time there, would have been nice to have a paper menu to look at while you waited, I would have ordered the turkey with stuffing sandwich, but i only noticed it after I ordered my sandwich. So many great choices! . We will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again! Well worth it!

This place is a stones throw from one of my job sites. Their sandwiches are some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had several of their cold cut sandwiches I’ve had their chicken cutlets and I’m a huge fan of their cheesesteak. They have claim to ” world’s most famous fries”. I have to admit they are also some of the best I’ve ever had. They also Brew their own iced tea and lemonade and put them in those big plastic containers which is a great treat in the summer. Everyone inside is very friendly and professional. If you’re in the Paramus area I highly recommend this place.

On a lunch date checking out a new spot for us in Paramus! I read good things about Ted’s and it was all that and more! We got the Turkey Gobbler sandwiches (I got the hero bread and hubby got the roll) and from the very first bite, it was absolutely delicious! Real turkey, flavorful gravy, stuffing was fluffy and the cranberry sauce was great!
I see they have a variety of sandwiches there, so I will be going back again soon to try more!
This place is for whoever is looking for a fulfilling meal. Service was fast and friendly! They do have a parking lot, but keep in mind it is a busy place so cars are in and out of there alot. I highly recommend trying Ted’s North Delicatessen out!

I’ve been going to Ted’s for yearsss! Not only is all of their food great, but it’s the coolest atmosphere too! It isn’t huge & it doesn’t have to be. Everyone who works there makes it seem much bigger than it is bc they all have beautiful hearts! They care about their customers! Everything is great, but I always have to order my soup & a little mac n cheese, plus whatever else I buy! Perfetto!

YUMMY, YUMMY !!! The fries here are what they are literally known for & they are FANTASTIC. Fresh, hot, seasoned, crispy french fries. The service is wonderful, everyone is so kind, quick and friendly !!! Steve got The Godfather sandwich which seems to be a big hit & delicious! I had a basic turkey sandwich also very yummy! Great selection of sandwiches, chips, sides, drinks and more! Definitely a great go to place if in the area !!!

I was waiting for this review. Finally. All I can say is this, the chili was mad delicious. Mmmmmmmm, good. Beautiful atmosphere, a little store filled with goodness. The staff were phenomenal. Especially the gentlemen behind the register. I happened to lock myself out of my car, and this kind young man took the moment to help me resolve my situation. Nothing special… don’t get the hype. First time got a chicken cutlet sandwich it was very blahhhh… I recently tried the chicken parmigiana sandwich. The couldn’t even toast the bread and it was soft and soggy. Again it’s just a convenient deli spot but I sure wouldn’t go out of my way for it!
