This was my first time ever visitng a Ted’s, and the food was quite good! I had the New York Strip, and whatever they seasoned it with was absolutely delicious. The Bison Short Ribs were also extremely tender and very delicious. The broccoli was just okay, and the mashed potatoes were good, but didn’t really taste like garlic unfortunately! The music was enjoyable and the atmosphere was cozy, and our waiter was very nice. Definitely on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for!

I can’t say enough about this place! The setting is absolutely aesthetic and very appealing, and you can really tell how fresh the food is. I loved learning that there are no fridges or long-term storage—everything is served fresh, and that was high on my list of things I enjoyed.
The service was incredible. Our beautiful waitress, Jennifer Reece, paid attention to every detail and had such a warm, welcoming nature. I highly recommend asking for her when you visit—she made the experience even more special.
And then the food… wow. When my Angus Avalon Burger arrived, it honestly blew my mind. I said out loud, “This is literally the best burger I’ve ever had.” Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and unforgettable.
Highly recommend Ted’s Montana Grill—between the atmosphere, the service, and the food, it’s an absolute 10/10!

Update: Thank you Sophie for giving us an opportunity to visit Ted’s again in Buford. Your kindness and response meant so much. My husband and I had the most delicious meal, great server and appreciate another wonderful experience at Ted’s!
Not sure what happened today???We normally have always had a great experience at Ted’s in Buford. My husband took me for my 60th Birthday and it was unfortunately a huge disappointment. At 3:30 in the afternoon, on a Tuesday they weren’t busy. The fries were cold, onion rings were hot, an ordered cocktail was never received (she took it off the bill), and the Salmon I ordered had a strange smell/taste (spoiled). I didn’t eat it, we didn’t complain, paid the $100 bill and left hungry and unsatisfied.

My wonderful clients took me out to dinner after we closed on their family members house. I had never been to Ted’s Montano Grill so I was excited to try it. We started out with the onion rings and a crab cake and then we each had a different entree. The appetizers were good … but The entrees were divine. I don’t usually like to order steak out because I’m usually disappointed. I wish I had a photo of the Delmonico rib eye steak because that was the BEST steak I’ve ever had. My husband ordered a (beef) burger and thought it was delicious. We all agreed the bison burger was probably even better than the beef burger. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

My husband and I first time dining here. Chantel was our bartender/ server and she was Awesome!! She gave us recommendations and she was spot on with everything. I got the salmon dinner and u husband tried the bison dinner. We were very pleased with our meals and the service was great.

Service was good, ask for Jack or Jacob, I believe is his name. The restaurant was crowded with huge parties but he was still very attentive to us.

If you’re looking for the best burger in the area, look no further. Ted’s Montana Grill has some of the best red meat available, particularly their burgers. We had two (2) American 1977 Burgers with Bison, Bacon, a fried egg, grilled onions, and mushrooms. They were absolutely amazing, based on flavor and preparation. We had TO-GO meals, and the service from the bartender was on point. The only negative is the ambiance and lighting— way too dark for my liking. With that, Ted’s stands above 5 Guys, Whataburger, Longhorn, Wendy’s, and McDonald’s. Just expect to pay a little more, $20 more to be exact.

The atmosphere was comfy, cozy, and old fashion. There was only a singular TV which definitely added to the atmosphere. Both servers were interacted with were charming and lovely. The food was incredible! 10/10 will definitely eat here again when passing through Atlanta. Props especially to the server Alex! She is amazing!!!

I had the beef ribeye and crab cake, I’ve never had a better steak and the crab cake was unexplainable!! Everything was soooooooo beyond good!! The service was great, out waitress was very helpful and attentive! Can not say enough how good everything was!! Been there many times, and will definitely be back, this Ted’s is always impressive!!
