A great greasy spoon in Wauwatosa that is frequented by regulars in the neighborhood. The service is quick and exceptionally friendly.
I had an omelette that was large and well prepared. The best part was the prices are very reasonable and food is solid!

On a busy Friday night we struggled to find a place to eat. We drove by Ted’s and saw a few open tables. Once inside we were immediately greeted and sat down. Waitress took our drinks and got a menu. Service was amazing! The food was fresh and ready in 15 minutes. Very pleased and will definitely come again and recommend! The other patrons were friendly and regulars as well.

This was a joke!! Look at the pictures.
The waitress told us at 11:51 am that we can’t get breakfast because they only serve breakfast til noon. Hmm… it’s before noon. But rather than pointing that out we ordered lunch instead.
We decided to order the Ted’s grilled cheese, which is supposed to be a grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes. When it came out, it looked ok until we opened the sandwich and had one strip of cheese, one strip of bacon and a very under ripe tomato.

Between two grilled cheese sandwiches, an order of cheese curds and two root beers, we were charged $30. Now if our bread ACTUALLY had a decent amount of cheese and bacon that would have been fine but to charge more than 5 dollars for that is ridiculous!!

First timer. Cool atmosphere. Vintage family vibe. But this ice cream…..was horrible, the strawberries were a soggy mess, no visible bananas after my daughter dug through hers looking for them, the presentation sucked, ice cream was full of ice and had a odd taste to it. I didn’t bother returning it or making a fuss. The world is complicated enough. Bad first-time experience… wouldn’t dare go back.

Such a cool diner! The corned beef hash was fire. Coffee was a little weak even for a diner. The M shaped seating is nifty. Fun that you get unique home style mugs.

Moved into the neighborhood recently and a friend and I were craving diner food. A family member reccomended Ted’s. I was not disappointed one bit!!!!!! Had the eggs Benedict with browns & it was delicious!!! Definitely a hidden gem, as it is a traditional diner inside with good food to match! highly recommend!
