I grew up on Ted’s Charcoal Hots in Buffalo, and I was so excited to find this location in Phoenix! The same great menu, hot dogs, and of course service that the original stores offer, if you haven’t tried this awesome destination, you have been missing out!

Been driving by Ted’s for years and finally decided to place an order a couple of days ago. It was so great to be able to order and quickly pick it up. It was late and the door was locked, but the staff opened up the door and gave me my order. I took a few bites before driving off and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of toppings and the real taste of chili and beef. Every bite was simple, but delicious! I love that they are right up the street. So, whenever the craving hits I will be there!

Food was gross. Not pleased. My husband isn’t super picky but even he didn’t like it. Kids were so disappointed. All around I do not recommend.

I arrived around 2:15 on a Saturday afternoon, and the line was nearly out the door. After about a 45-minute wait, we finally got our food and it was well worth it. The wait times can be hit or miss, but the service is always courteous. The menu offers a great variety: hot dogs, brats, burgers, chicken, gluten-free options, fries, onion rings, and even shakes. Be sure to grab some of their takeaway sauces and don’t skip the vinegar for the fries!

ive probably passed this place and million times and never went in until now. food was great all good pricing except the cheese fries price was a bit wild. super nice staff and good rewards program. if you are plus sized though be conscious. the seats are SUPER narrow and not adjustable at all. they have chairs but only 1 side chair other side a bench so that was a bit disappointing. saw many other groups of people doing the same trying to go to the one with both. Still a great experience!

This place always over delivers on the deliciousness, good vibes, and great staff! Everything on the menu is delicious but I specifically wanted a burned chili cheese foot long and it was divine! Added a corn dog and some chili cheese fries too and opening the box on my takeout online order when I got home was like opening Marsellus Wallace’s briefcase in Pulp Fiction.

Ted’s Hotdogs absolutely fresh with quality, cooked over open Mesquite coals with the perfect broil flavor! You want to enjoy a 4th of July BBQ that takes your taste buds to sparks in the sky this is the place.

The new in-person ordering method ruins the place. Won’t be coming back under that system. I tried to keep an open mind. Creating frictionless experiences is often good, but not at the cost of memorable experiences.

My partner and I were in the mood for a Diner-stlye meal and this spot definitely hit the mark. Small, local and delicious. We each had burgers which were very much backyard BBQ style which we are big fans of. The patties are rather thin so I would suggest getting a double or a triple if you are looking for something meaty. The chili is on the tomato-ketchup side in the sense that it is a bit sweet but balances the saltiness of the frys and cheese or your burger or hot dog very well. Loved the cheese sauce on the fries, this is how it’s done! Not cheese that coagulates into a hard block like In-N-Out. The chocolate shake was thick and not overly sweet. I’d say, we will definitely be coming back

I’ve always loved this place for its classic, old-school hot dog joint feel. We have been coming here as a family for 10 years, my husband since he was a little kids(for a LONG TIME). Lately, though, it seems like changes were made that didn’t need to be. For the grandson that took over, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it — the newer, more commercial feel takes away from what originally made this spot so great.

The staff is still great, but they seem to be hidden from the customers. This isn’t a fast food joint it’s an experience.
