Ted’s Hotdogs opened in 1940. They have an indoor charcoal grill to cook your hotdogs or sausage. They have excellent hotdogs and sausages. I added Chilli and onions to top of my dog’s. OH, what a treat! If your in the area I highly recommend trying Ted’s!

Very disappointed in this location every time I try to go. Stood in line waiting to order for 40 minutes- I wish I was exaggerating. Food was cold, onion rings burnt to a crisp, workers moved slow as snails, and $50 worth of food went straight into the garbage.

This is a great restaurant with high quality burgers, dogs and sausages and made the great choice to use Martin’s Potato Rolls for their burgers! Everything, I clouding the bacon is cooked over a charcoal grill so that it is all infused with that great charcoal flavor. The employees strive to get things right and the result is a perfect meal. I will be stopping here every time that I am in town. Did I mention Martin’s Potato Rolls? Great job!

Stopped here before I go on my strict diet starting on Monday. These hot dogs are THE BEST. Perfectly charred and served the way you want, with lots of condiment choices, including chili and melted cheese. Variety of dipping sauces for the fries as well. Nice friendly staff and fun atmosphere. No call-ahead nor online ordering. From the constant flow of customers I don’t think this business model is hurting them. Their prices have really gone up plus now they want you to tip the workers. Even if I weren’t going on a diet, my budget would limit this to a rare visit!

Some of the best hot dogs you will ever eat. They give you plenty of Fries & Onion Rings, Milk Shake wow. Don’t forget to get a Loganberry. One of my favorite places. Whenever I’m in the Western NY area I will not leave until I get me a Teds Hot Dog.

Both the hotdogs and burgers are top notch, but the onion rings are the best around! I didn’t realize a small fry only had nine fries in it so I will order a larger one next time! Our wait time was long with only one line, but the food is made in front of you to your specifications. The staff is very friendly. They have plenty of seating and parking too.

The char-grilled hot dogs were delicious! The hot dogs had a nice snap when you bite into them. The Splits (fries and onion rings) were delicious too. The homemade onion rings were ahhhh-mazing. Gotta make another pit stop before I return to VA Beach!
